Being the part of best University of East India. Assam Science and Technology University is renowned University of Guwahati. I have done Ph. D in English from this University and quite satisfied from my job and salary . This University students have been making the university proud wherever they go.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was well divided in all the three years. The subjects were taught well and faculties had focused on more of practical aspects. Faculties in third year have given much time to each student to write thesis and reports to get good marks
Placement Experience
The placement track of this university was not so good. Even our alumni did not get placement well. Most of them have started their own business or they moved to other states and started prepared for NET examination
Fee Structure And Facilities
The university charges 500 RS as an application fee. Ph. D is a three year course for which you have to pay 30600. This is a complete fee for the course which includes examination as well as Tuition fee
Campus Life
The university does not focus much on extracurricular activities. But still the Alumni along with some of the faculties plan some events and activities. This would give some joy to the students. There is a facility of sports and indoor area where students can play various games
Admission
The get admission in Ph. D is not so simple in this university. You must be passed from a recognised university in your post graduation and you also have to clear the C-Ret which is an exam to qualify or the seats.
Faculty
In our Ph. D in English every faculty was very good with the concepts. They have made us perfect and trained ya well to write the examination as well as the thesis to pass the course. The faculty was really knowledgeable and helpful.
