This college has the best set of faculty members. The college also provides the students with incubation facilities wherein the students are free to express their innovative ideas and build them up with the help of faculty guides. The college supports entrepreneurship. Students are allowed to explore themselves by participating in various competitions and in cultural activities.

The college maintains a healthy and friendly environment between the students and the faculty members. A continuous progression check is maintained by the respective department, regarding the student's performance.

The college allows internship opportunities in government-aided companies and in well-reputed companies along with Internshala etc. The projects are performed by the students under their respective faculty guides. In case the student gets an opportunity to conduct the project under government-aided companies they are allowed to carry on with the assistance on an internal guide from b half of the college. The guides always make themselves available to the students to clarify project-related doubts.

The placement cell of the college is pretty good. An appreciable number of students get hired by different companies. The students are provided with placement training sessions before they attend the interview and this training session is very helpful. The placement cell is always in support of the students.

SVIT conducts two tests per year. One fest per-semester. During the odd semester tech Vidya fest is held which is basically dealing with technology-related events. Students participate in a lot of enthusiasm. During the even semester, sanchalana is held which is a cultural fest of the college. This is the most awaited time of the year. We celebrate this fest for a week with different themes each day. There are stalls put up by the students and we have ethnic day also. This fest is celebrated with a lot of pomp and show. Students get to explore and express their talents by participating in the events.
