The course curriculum of our college was good like we have 2 courses combined which means 2 master's degrees EMBA degree from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for general management and MS in Business Analytics degree from the University at Buffalo.

Placement Experience

The placement cell in our college works efficiently to place a number of students. 100+ companies visited our college for campus placement. Some of them were Citi Bank, Deloitte, Federal Bank, etc. The highest salary package offered was 28.40 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college offers a postgraduate program in the field of management. The fee details of the course for MBA in total course fee in Amrita School of Business is INR 3.60 lakhs for 2 years. Its quite feasable.

Campus Life

We have workshops on the different topics conducted frequently, Conference of parties, alumnus workshops, Independence day celebrations, tech fest, etc. and many more activities were organized. Our college has zero-tolerance on ragging.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides hostel facilities for boys and girls separately. The infrastructures of the hostels are good and can accommodate a number of students. There are a double-sharing room and the total fee cost ?1.9 Lakhs per year.

ASB has a strong network of about 1900+ alumni globally, working & holding senior management positions in world-class MNCs like Microsoft, Google, Apple, HP, Nokia, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Capgemini, MIT, Citibank, etc.

Admission

My admission was based on the entrance exam of MAT. I registered myself and fill out the application form online. And then, I took the Aptitude test again and lastly, I went through a personal interview. I started attending regular classes after the same.

Faculty

All my professors were good with their academic profile and had 10 plus years of experience in teaching. Furthermore, their way of teaching was way to the good that I was able to understand the concept taught by them.

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

As iibs is providing good college placements with average package of 9.45 lakhs and highest package of 48 lakhs So don't need of focusing outside the college for placement I think iibs is provided better placement opportunities

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

The title of my review were nice i have explianed my college pros and cons by completing two years of my graduation .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

Overall I am a post graduate now and ready to land in corporate world. I am confident and will make my college proud as well. It was a nice experience overallasr.

So the process for admissions in any MBA course from any business school requires you to clear and have CAT, MAT, OR GMAT score or any other such competitive scores. I took CAT and cleared the cutoff marks that make me eligible to apply for tier2 colleges since my score was 79 percentile. I don't have any reservation benefits with me and the admission process was simple and clear, once you have a score you need to find the colleges that will accept the students falling under a certain score range. For instance, in my case, I shortlisted a few colleges after going through their website and reading their cutoff for MBA, while I was going through this I saw Amrita school of business was offering a dual degree course wherein I was getting MBA along with MS from a renowned college in USA that is SUNY, University at Buffalo, NY. Also, they asked for a CAT score above the 60 percentile so I was qualified to apply there and likewise, I applied and that was followed by shortlisting by the college....Read More
