Textile Technology learning

Staff was good. Management was government. Hence original qaulity as required in textile education is not Maintained now. Even after 30 years students are taught with 50 year old machines. These machines are irrelavant and outdated. College needs to upgrade laboratories facilities to meet the present Technology

I never took any entrance exam I was selected on PUC II Year marks Merit In those days there was no entrance examination for Engineering education. Even Regional Engineering colleges admitted based on the final year PUC marks PCM

Excellent We had integrated 5 year BTech Textile program with semester scheme. This scheme of examination was very good taught us theory as well as practicals. Experts from Industry were examiners

There was no Industry internship. They gave us some topics for seminar which was very useful for us. Textile Testing seminar report helped me to help support manufacturing process which helped me to become scientist in Government.

Excellent I got job in 4 companies. I was interested in working in latest Technology in Bombay Dyeing. I got opportunity to work in best Technology in weaving at Mumbai

Annual Day, Sports week Seminar Inter college debate contest Cricket and table tennis chess foot ball and basket ball team were given nice coaching by qualified teacher

Very less Rs 300 per year we were paying fees in two installments 150 each excellent facility for my family Laboratory fees was RS 27 which was reimbursed by Government because my father was government servant

I never took any scholarship General merit candidate was not not offered any scholarship National Merit loan many people got. I could not get it because of my fathers annual income

There was excellent allround development activities. They conducted south India and North India Technical Educational tour. This educational tour gave us good exposure to Industries available in India. Also gave us interaction with senior technical personnels Alumini of our Institute who guided us for opportunity in different segment of the Textile Industry in India

I never stayed in hostel. But we had excellent Hostel with very good mess managed by Rector and students leaders. Food served was very good. Every sunday there was feast. I had opportunity to enjoy food with hostel inmates

We had very big Alumini association. They meet regularly and make we given an opportunity to orgnaise seminar and lecture by eminent personalities We had very senior technical people working as executive Director s in Mills were good asset to all the freshers

Semester scheme. 5 Year BTech with practical Examination 10 semester theory and practical examination was conducted by Bangalore university

Very good Highly experienced and qualified dedicated teachers taught us theory as well as practicals. This was excellent program with 1100% placement in Textile Industry
