Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is rigorous and geared towards excellence, as is the norm for many of the engineering colleges. The course structure is semester wise. There are a lot practicals and theory is less of a focus. The general b.tech course has 8 semesters, with a dissertation in the final semester. There are different specializations such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science.
Placement Experience
There are plenty of placement opportunities for the students. To prepare the students for he placement drives, mock drives are held and tests are also held. However, competition is very tough and a lot of students work very hard to secure a good job before graduation. Naturally, some students have to look out for themselves after graduation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is comparable to many of the other engineering colleges in India. The first year fee reaches up to an amount of Rs. 70,000 and is inclusive of the miscellaneous fees like library fee, lab fee etc.
Campus Life
The campus has a large area and has many different facilities for sports, dance, gyms and so on. The sports facilities are very excellent and MU has many different courts such as basketball court, tennis court, etc.
Admission
The admission process was very uncomplicated and straightforward. A form had to be downloaded from the universities website and submitted after filling out all the documents. The admission was determined by the scores in the CET exam and our own marks in 12th.
Faculty
The faculty in Madhav University is very experienced and are usually very excellent teachers. The professors are usually very talented and a very clear knowledge of the subject that they teach. They always focus on the students and doubt solving sessions are quite common.
