The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University is one of the best university located in Rajasthan, founded in the year 2012. The well qualified faculty & strong bonding between teacher & students makes this college the first choice for all the students in the region of the country.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted to for Bachelor of Arts and my course was divided into the 3 parts consisting of certain subjects. Part 1 had General Hindi, General English, Hindi, English, Sociology and Sanskrit. Part 2 had Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Sociology. And part 3 had English,Hindi, Sanskrit, Sociology. The course was vast and the subjects were diverse with a lot of theoretical aspect to it. Our course structure was careful divided to give sufficient knowledge of all subjects and also focus on the majors. the exams took place twice a year, 1 time per semester and hence it was pretty chilled out and stress free.
Placement Experience
The college has a fairly decent placement record and has been able to sufficiently provide placement to a majority of the students applying for jobs. The Placement Cell is still growing and hence has a long way to go but the college is doing its best for now.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of the course per annum is around 50,000 INR paid on yearly basis, which is not very feasible for all students but is worth it because of the facilities provided to the students. The fees can be paid in installments too in case someone is not able to pay the large amount at one go.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural competitions are also available in this college. They help the students to maintain a balanced life between studies and a healthy lifestyle to release the stress.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is provided for both boys and girls in the college with basic amenities and a hostel warden for each wing. The rooms are twin sharing and are spacious enough to accommodate the two. There is a clean bathroom provided for hygiene purposes and mess food for the students living in the hostel, three times a day.
Alumni/Alumna
the Alumni and the students are quite skilled and have a good grasp over everything that has been taught to them in this institute. They do not stall from passing on their mastery and are always eager to succor to our needs.
Admission
The aspirants who wish to join this university have to fill an online application form on the official website of the university (www.shekhauni.ac.in) if they have cleared the eligibility criteria for admission, that is the aspirants have completed their class 10+2 with minimum passing marks from a recognized university. The next step is an personal interview with the faculty and the chancellor or vice chancellor, after which you shall be grate admission into the college if you pass it.
Faculty
The faculty was very accommodating and eager to help the students. They were very well informed of the subjects and possessed an erudite knowledge of it all. They had ample of expertise and a great command on the subjects.
