A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GREAT INFRASTRUCTURE

College management was student friendly one and only bad thing about the college was it was not getting the campus placements in convincing manner.and also it was in remote village. Good Remark was Our college has a library and laboratory facilities which were world class. It was not exaggeration really our library is a good one.

I Wrote AP Eamcet exam in 2012 and got 19231 rank and got EEE Seat I chose this college because it was a Good College in surroundings of Vijayawada.

The course was a four year course and in first year it was yearly basis and next three years it was semester basis but now it was changed to semester system. In first year there were 8 subjects and 4 labs and in semester basis 6 subjects and 2 labs. In the last year there was a mini project and a graduate seminar and viva voce and a main project coming to the electives in the last semester one was Utilization of Electrical Energy another one was Data Base Management Systems.

There was no such facility in our course curriculum but our college allows if we do that anywhere. But from the next year this type of system was being developed in course curriculum so our college will get good companies for internships.

Coming to the placements many software companies came to the college like TCS INFOSYS and GENPACT and so on but the placements were not that convincing. Packages are like RS 3, 25, 000 for annum.

Every year Sports events were conducted and also a festival named GECFEST was conducted students from surrounding colleges come and participate in the Cultural events and paper presentations and technical exhibitions. It was a good one and had good name in our state so it will be good to participate in that.

Coming to fee a Tuition Fee of RS 30, 200 for every year and a building fund of RS 5000 was collected every year and a NBA accreditation fee of RS 4200 was also collected so Almost around One Lakh Sixty Thousand Was collected along 4 years. It was not that expensive when we studied but now as our college is a Autonomous it was collecting a Tuition Fee of RS 65000 which was very much expensive.

In our state there was a facility of fee reimbursement by state government for economically backward students and in our college scholarship will be given to best performer in department coming to loans only banks give education loans.

Our branch Electrical Was a conventional branch so relatively girls are less in our branch and every year many number of workshops are conducted like workshops on MATLAB and Robotics.Every department has a organisation and my electrical branch also has one named ESCON, There many cultural activities conducted every year. There was no room for Any disparities on the basis of ethnicity, caste, creed Economic status and all So Based on all these our college was a perfect one.

In our college there was good hostel facilities for Girls and for boys there were good facilities for accommodation outside also. Coming to food it was not great in quality but not to bad it was ok.

When I joined the college there was some ragging but it was in a friendly manner our seniors helped us a lot in our academics but after our batch even that interaction was also stopped and our college and its premises is with ragging free environment.

Exam system was very free in nature. Every semester there was two labs and 6 subjects. there will be 2 internal exams for each subject and also a internal for labs so that was not at all hectic.

Coming to the faculty Electrical faculty in our college was one of the best in our state every faculty has minimum 10 years of teaching experience and maximum of 25 years there standards are also world class.
