Remarks

KIT is an amazing college due to its academic focus without compromising on the extracurriculars. The college has a good hostel facility and a wifi enabled campus for the students. The college focusses in quality education by giving both practical and theoretical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is based on the modern world practical approach. The course structure is interesting and engaging. There are both theory and practical examinations for the students. The college also gives research work to the students.

Placement Experience

Companies come to the campus for giving placements and job opportunities. HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank are some of the frequently visiting companies. It gives more exposure to the student in their respective fields.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total cost for the entire program is 2.25 lakhs. Per semester fees is 60000 for the first year and 55000 for the next 3 years. The fees over all is not very expensive and is pretty affordable. The tuition fee is 50000 for all the 4 years.

Campus Life

There are several extra curricular activities for the students like sports, music and annual fests that are organised by the college. Also, there are several workshops that are arranged for the students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good . The hostel has 2 blocks, all the rooms in the hostel are hygienic and clean. The rooms are fully equipped with cupboard, good quality mattresses, and study tables. There are also other facilities like reading room.

Admission

To get admission in the college, you need to give the TNEA ( Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) conducted by the Anna University . The eligibility criteria to give the TNEA is to pass 10 + 2 Board Exam. Once you give the TNEA, the merit list will published in the end of June based on which your colleges will be allotted .

Faculty

The college faculty is highly qualified and is very helpful and supportive. The faculty finds new and innovative ways to teach the students to make the topics interesting. Also, all teachers as well as other staff members are very cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
