Satisfied and Happy

My first year exams were smooth and they had subjects like General anatomy including embryology and histology, General human physiology and biochemistry, Dental anatomy, embryology and oral histology. Apart from annual exams, we have regular internals that contribute 10% to the overall marks of our semester end. It is important to obtain at least 50% marks to sit in the next year.

For the completion of BDS degree, every student has to complete 1 year of internship. Major hospitals are tied up with the college to provide us with amazing internship opportunities. We easily around 20-25K per month with these internships and we get to learn so much!

My tuition fee for BDS is 30,000 per year. It is not really expensive and does not burn the hole in anybody's pocket. Since Maulana Azad is a government college, I expected that the fees would be low only. I am satisfied and happy with it.

Maulana Azad is the heart for different activities like entertainment and culture. Every year, all the students come together to make the most of a festival. We also have free dental camps for people. I have recently joined the college society that is involved in conduction of global conferences.

My senior, Purvi is my constant. She taught for me the exams in 1st semester and I am happy I found her here. She has been helping me tackle a lot of problems, not only related to academics but mental as well. Exams can be stressful and you really need someone who can be your stress-buster.

My admission process was very easy. I got admission through merit basis via Delhi University on sports quota. Although there are only 40 seats available every year, high priority is given to those who deserve. That is what I like about this college. Other seats are available through entrance exams, SC/ST/OBC.

Our faculty is pretty mazing in this college. They teach you well and pay full attention. They always provide the students with notes and guidance. Before our exams, every teacher informs what is important and how to create a study strategy. The faculty is highly qualified.
