It requird 2 years work experience after my B.Tech in ECE. It was based on my merit(marks) and interview.

Since this is post graduate study, There was no internship yes minor project and thesis are there which require exhaustive in depth study and work research on a topic.

Good students are absorbed readily in nearby institutions and even college itself. As such no dedicated placemnts for post graduate students. but one finds sufficient references from faculty for opportunities in india and abroad.

In routine weekly events under various societies as ISTE IETE, etc, keep u on move apart from that annual fest is a rather an on -off feature due to discipline hindrance. Yes youth fest partcipation is very entudsiatically followed.

Dont remember exact fee structure now but it was roughly 50, 000/- per year excluding hostel charges. Apart from that 5000/- is thesis fees and examination fees of 750/- from universty are applicable time to time.

Yes study loans are available for students. based on economic conditions. library is very good so books are not an issue at all that saves good bucks. Faculty extends best support for bright students.

Excellent rather best exposure under various commitee on regular events . Best collgee as students are given full freedom for organizing events. Excursion trips, robotics club, literary club, cultural club all keep campus abuzz with activity and fun.

I was a day scholar so not much idea on hostel facilities though a very good gymnasium for boys and girls is there. plus college has a large swimming pool , basket ball bourt, tennis court for studenst. Mess food is good to taste but quality is a again a messy affair. Mess committe always has tough time fighting issues.

Very good solid network allmajors in telecommuincation. Mechanical have alumnus from this college in top positions. IAS officiers , businessmen abroad, academicians in universities abroad from this college make the alumuns network best.

It follows semester system whole curriculumis divided in 5 semseters, including siz months of thesis(mimimum).

Standard of collge is very high as it is oldest engineering collge of north india set up in 1956 even before thapar college. Faculty believes in pushing students for self study rather than spoonfeeding.
