JEE mains - 50 (score) bits pilani - 100 (score)cet for ipu - 44000 ( rank). I opted for gtbit as this is one of the best college for engineering. Secondly i being a sikh feels close to my religion in this college .
Internships Opportunities
Since i am first year student i am not really aware about the companies and what percentage of students are chosen. But as heard from senoirs around 70-80% of them are selected every year. Many companies like - infosis, erricsson , wipro etc.
Placement Experience
As mentioned earlier i am not aware about the placements but roughly 70-80 % of students are chosen and many companies like ericsson, wipro, infosis etc come to our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship for children those whose parents yearly income is less than a lakh .
Campus Life
Campus life is good. There are no hostels as the campus is not that big but infrastructure is not that bad. There are many extra curriculum activities taking place like drama , dance , art and craft .
Exam Structure
Exam and lab facilities are very good in gtbit. Labs have good equipments and instruments. Exams are neither too hard nor too easy .
Faculty
A College becomes best when the faculty of ths college or any institute is best. The faculty of guru teg bahadur intitute of technology arequite good. Some teachers are just outstanding and exceptions are always there. standard of faculty is just okay. You can not call them the best but not even bad.
