Remarks
I am currently in my final year of BTech ECE in SRM Ramapuram. I would say this is the best college coz you get to enjoy studying engineering which is possible only in this college apart from academics various cultural events and compititions a re conducted where we could showcase our talents. All the teaching staff are so friendly with us which makes us comfortable to approach them. My brother studied in same college only so I joined this college coz we always had agood experience with this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are on par with IITs and nits we are provided with foreign author books that to the latest editions. ECE was the course that I always wanted to do in this digital world ECEiens get a lot of job opportunity. I would say that the faculties are like our friends they share our knowledge, and experience they help us in a lot of ways. Faculties are highly qualified everybody is a postgraduate or a doctorate in a specific field and also that they keep on doing a lot of online courses from Nptel portal so they keep upgrading their knowledge to teach us new technologies.passing exam is not a big deal coz faculties give us lectures, smart class, seminars and make us do the project on various topics so it's easy for us to do our test very well.
Placement Experience
Form final year we have been given with a lot of idea about placements, but from first sem onwards we have one paper called personal development win which we are taught aptitude and logical reasoning and so on my plan is to get placed in a nice company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, I joined in management seat so for me, it's around 2.5L. I don't know about the fee hike. Those who score a specific amount of mark they get a scholarship, a study in foreign opportunities.
Campus Life
A lot of cultural events are happening in my college some of them are elecxa (ECE symposium), texas (CSE symposium) and so on. The library is an extraordinary place to refer to anything regarding your course it provides internet facility also. Our college has a basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court and throws ball court sort from that various cricket and football tournaments are held. NSS is a very good social club in which we go to rural schools and clean the area, paint the school walls,nss organised alot of seed balls drive in various colleges in which we all come up and plant trees.
