Remarks
I have no negative comments. All I have for my college is praises and praises. It is the best in the locality and highly disciplined. It is a bit traditional but every other facility is very good. In my one year I learned so much from there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and we learn a lot. We have labs and presentations very often and group discussions as well. My confidence level has increased a lot since then and I can boldly speak in front of the room full of people.
Placement Experience
There is no internship component in the curriculum. Even though some companies do come to our campus for placements but the selection is very little. If the placement drive was increased slightly it would add more stars to our college.
College Events
Our college hosts many events, be it cultural, educational or sports. We have inter-department quizzes, sports matches and group discussion, in which I take part wholeheartedly. Apart from them our college also organises and takes part in intercollege events and competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible and almost everyone can afford it. The fee structure is around 40K for the whole course. It is divided into three yearly fee. The fee for the first year is Rs16,095 (10,095+6000). The fee for the other two years is Rs 12000(6000+6000) each.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't availed any loan facility or scholarship but as far as I know, loan facilities are available for certain people and they also offer reduction in fee for the children of ex-servicemen. There are govt. scholarships for everyone who wants to avail them and scholarships for SC/ST students as well.
Campus Life
Our college excels in extracurricular activities. There are lot of events and dorm parties. Our college organises many intra and inter college events. There is no gender, religious or ethnic discrimination. We occasionally have different cultural parties.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted for Hostel facility. From what I have heard from my friend, who lives in a hostel, the food is good and edible. The hotel rooms are also good to live in. Each room is shared by two students.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college has annual alumni meet where they share their stories. I happened to attend one and learned a lot from the seniors. They motivated me deeply. They shared many tips and tricks of the trade with us and how to stand out among the crowd.
Admission
I downloaded the application form shortly after finishing the board exam and after filling the details correctly I submitted it back. The criteria for applying in this course is that a candidate should have qualified the exam from TN board or qualified some equivalent exam. So after applying for the course I went to college to check the infrastructure and learn more about the course and the administration staff walked me calmly through the process and cleared me of every doubt.
Faculty
Our faculty is highly skilled and dedicated in their profession. They teach us enthusiastically and listen to us whenever we have doubts. However, there are very very few exceptions but that is negligible.
