Entrance Preview
I got around 11000 rank in the CET examination and opted for HKBK as this was one of the good colleges for the rank. I had got and college was producing some excellent results .
Course Curriculum Overview
We used have 5-8 theory classes of 1 hr and 3 hrs of practical classes on 3 days. Practical classes used to be on alternate days.We used have 3 internal assessment and 1 main examination for theory and practical.
Internships Opportunities
We dint have any internship but back then good number of companies were coming for campus recruitment and on an average 15-20 were getting selected. Some of the well known companies to visit the Campus are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Dell, Accenture, Target etc.

College Events
The College had two events, one was the freshers day and the other the annual day. We had the annual sports meet involving cricket, football, basketball, volleyball and athletics.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the private college the fee was pretty reasonable compared to other colleges. Back then I got into the college via CET. The total fee for the year used to cost me around INR 15, 000. INR 10, 000 for CET and 5, 000 for college.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is generally 60:40 ( 50:50 if mechanical department was not considered). We did have the Cricket, football, basketball and volleyball teams which were well backed by the college. We had good number of students coming from different parts of India. I my class 25% of the students were from outside Karnataka. We also had students from Nepal in my class. Labs were pretty good and were available when ever required during the day. There was no discrimination based on race, religion or sex.
Exam Structure
We had three internal assessments for theory and practical. There was one theory and practical examination. The Exams and labs very pretty balanced giving enough time between the exams.
Faculty
The faculty was a mix of experienced and newbies. Many of the faculty in the College were in-fact the Alumnus of the colleges. The college had Assistant Professors who were actually pursuing their Phds.
