The best thing about any IIT is environment, especially your peer group. There is a lot to learn from everyone and sharing the same hostel or college with some extremely smart studnets and will surely propel you to reach new heights and for the bad things i don't recall any.

I have chosen this course because computers and its working have always fascinated me since childhood. Not only computers, television, and other electronics also fascinated me, but computer topped them. The introduction of ML and AI also drove my interest in the course.

I don't know the accurate stats, but more than 90% of the students from course got placed. The highest salary package is offered in crores per annum, and the average salary package offered ranges between 30-40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges between 20-25 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. visit our college for placements. Internship rate is also quite good, at least 75-80% of the students from our course get an internship.

Fests and extracurricular activities are conducted at our college, and it's very entertaining here. Fest organised by the college is the biggest one in North India. The clubs keep organising events, and almost something is going on every time.Annual fest like Rendezous is also one of the most famous fest among students of IIT Delhi as well as students of other colleges of Delhi.

IIT fees for the complete course ranges between Rs 8-10 lakh for general category students. In the past six years, the fees for General category students, planning to study B.Tech in IITs, has increased three-fold from Rs 50,000 annually to Rs 3 lakh annually. However, the fees for other course have remained almost unchanged.

Students will be awarded an enhanced fellowship of Rs.15,000/- per month.Students are expected to put in 20 hours of work per week, as opposed to the 8 hours per week to be put in by an student awarded TA'ship (Teaching Assistantship), whose fellowship is Rs.8,000/- per month

IIT has consistently been on the top of rating charts for Indian colleges for quite a while now and we all know those who get into it have always nurtured this dream. IIT Delhi joined forces with IIT Delhi Alumni Association to organise the yearly alumni reunion on its campus recently. During the reunion, the organization also offered the Distinguished Alumnus Awards for the year 2020. Alongside the event, “IITD: A Tech expo” was also prearranged with a number of student teams and IIT Delhi-reared startups displaying their innovation to the alumni. The event brought out 12 Project Teams and four Competition Teams from the Centre for Innovation (CFI), a 'Student Lab' at IIT Delhi founded with resources from alumni.

I got the admission by clearing IIT Advance Entrance exam. Admission process was quite simple though, i have got admission on 22/06/2012. I opted for this course because I always had a great interest in technology based things and IIT Delhi is one of the best college in India

Teachers in our college are well qualified, knowledgeable and generous. They try reaching out to us and take our doubts on an online platform named Piazza. Assignments are a very vital part of learning in our department, so they are totally relevant to what is going on in the class.
