It was a great experience to be a part of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Relevant. No such industrial visits but commerce related topics were well covered. Subjects were relavent to the requirement to the industry work relating to commerce. Teachers were professional. And used to impart knowledge in a very easy manner. Fair.
Placement Experience
Placement seems to be good. Many good big companies used to come for the drive and many or almost all are normally placed.
College Events
Freshers,annual functions and sports day were also held. Annual functions were quite big and the chief minister used to be the guest sometimes. Sports day used to be within the university among the differenct departments. Farewell and freshers were conducted by the students
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very minimal and feasible. As it is governed by government,the fees is very very economical. There was complete transparency in the fee breakdown. There is no additional fees to secure an admission. Percentage matters to get the addmission in this university.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opt for any of the scholarship or education loan neither I am aware of any as such. Yes they did offer.
Campus Life
There was a mix of gender and even diversity. There were student parties in the event of freshers day as well as in farewell. Students were of all caste and creed in the same batch or section. All used to be of very mixing nature and there was no partiality.
Hostel Facilities
No, I didn't opt for hostel so not much aware about how it was. As much as heard, hostel rooms were good enough for students and even the rentals were very reasonable they the outside PGs so many used to stay there.
Alumni/Alumna
They were indeed very helpful and cooperative. There is no ragging system as such in the university and hence easy to deal with.
Admission
It's one of the best college in Odisha. Admission is very simple. Filling the form and submitting some requisite documents is enough to get enrolled. Roll numbers were allotted based on percentage and mine was 002. I did my Bcom here in this college.
Faculty
Yes they did have relevant industry experience or certifications. In my course there were around 10 lecturers and average age was 45-50. Well experienced professors. And had good knowledge in the subject they were teaching. they used to provide good clarity on the subjects.
