Remarks
Good remark is the infrastructure is good for study there is 24/7 library open for study. The bad remarks are the cost is very high and the campus is so small if you want to enjoy a campus life the College is not for you.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good.and there are 3 internals and 1 external in one semester. so every time you have to keep in touch of study.And the labs are very good.If you want to study you can do it without any problems. So now i am in 1st year so i am doing the combine course.From 2nd year we will enter the main stream. I will say the course curriculum is good as my experience.
Placement Experience
So i think the placement percentage is very good mostly for cs isc and ece branch but for the other branches this is average.But there is no intership facility from the college. But you can do it on your own.
College Events
There are many events cultural and also technical sargam(cultural) hackathon,rudrakhs(technical) those are big events.and there are many events for extra curriculum and even they provide you the certificate for participating also.sargam is the inter college cultural feast which is hosted by our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
14-15 lakh for direct admission students those are academical and hostel fees without any donation. They take very costly donation for csc ece isc branch.But through kcet admission the fees are normal. Even they charge separately for placement trainings. Moral is the cost is high for this College.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I did not take any education loan but you are going to take direct admission it is hard to get the loan because there is no test for direct admission and other state students.
Campus Life
The campus is small and artificial.The football ground is not a football a football ground it is like a stone and sand road. But the campus is quite gorgeous and well maintained. There are so many facilities for sports such as basketball table tennis body building. But i am a football player and its frustrating that there is no good infrastructure for football so for my case i am not happy with the sports facility. But the extracurricular activities like music dance drama etc are very good.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I opted for hostel the mess food is not good as compared to the fees.there are 3 sharing rooms and the rooms are not so big for 3 people but it is okay.there are hot water service available in morning and night.and also the purified water is provided to students.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are good. There is no afraid of bullying or ragging.But if you are a non kannada please dont mess with kannada senior.(its personal experience so it can vary person to person and all people are not bad)
Admission
Direct because i am from another state. You can give kcet if you live in Karnataka through kcet u can enter the College.If you want to join in 2020 -21 session you can go to the official website of New horizon College of Engineering. And apply the form for admission.
Faculty
The faculties are very supportive and helpful.they can help you anytime when you need them.even they are available after the class and you can go to them without sny hesitation.And the HoDs are also very good.But from my personal experience i will say the principal is not supportive and very rude personality.
