Pondicherry university

My university life was s great experience and st last I can say that my university is really very good in all the expect as we canexoect more from that. As been having in proffesionals cource but management has to work and they can really improve themselves as their is lot space for the improvement.

Placement was an average when compare to bschools. But everyone got placed at my time whosoever was interested mostly banks will come for the placement. Like - hdfc, icici,axis etc other banks also came for the placement and lot of companies like - ITC, icici securities, Mahindra and mahindra etc. And if talk about average placement on year on year it is around 70 to 80% of student will get placed.

When it comes to events, I think it is among one of the highest in any of the universities and colleges. People will come here from allover the india and will celebrate each and every festival over here and everyone will be invited to participate in that festivals and events. In my department we have one 2 day seminar on international trade every year. One management fest of three days every years. Every month we will have a seminars on different topics by industry expertise. 7 days industrial tour. Cultural function onam, pongal,diwali celebration will be their.

At my time fees was very less as compare to other colleges. Mine fees was 75000 for whole mba program. 30000 for whole hostel fee for both the years. And yes they used all mode of payment of fees online, bank chalan, etc and when comes to the transparency you can see the tranxency and break down of the fees structure in the fee slip itself. No additional fees has to paid to secure admission one has to pay the whole semester fee on the admission date itself.

Yes college offer scholarship which was given by central government of india. It depend upon the income of your family. wo rupees I got annually as scholarship from the government.

It was having good environment it come to gender ratio. It can be said 4:3. As it was a central universities it was having all the facilities as lab,Workshop etc and you can see the girls and boys are roaming in the campus at any point whether it early morning or late at night of 2 clock. And their no such discrimination on the basis of gender, ethnicity,race,religion. As my university is having temple and as well mosque inside the campus itself.and the best part you can lift for anyone and no one will say no for the lift. Even people will come and ask you to give lift as if they see walking on roads

Alumini network was week as they that was not well developed by the department. And once you will passed from the university u won't be having a contact with the new batch. Ig may be because people came other states to study their and didn't get a chance to go back into the university again from their busy schedule.

In my department they are having 8 central government faculties and all are assistant professor and above. 2 guest lecturers was their. One specifically for French language and other one depend open the need of the department. And all of them having a huge experience in their subject as some them are professors and they are having a experience of 20 year plus.
