Remarks
The management system is really poor, unavailability of hostel for girls, poor and old Infrastructure add to them. Actually the facilities which are for Around 150 is being divided among 250 people resulting in problems. Many health related issues are not being paid attention by the principal in many cases. Political pressure on them remains to be a problem.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is lengthey of 5. 5 yrs. it includes 4. 5 yrs of college and 1 yr of compulsory internship in the hospital itself with practical exposure, during the college days, classes were taken by professors and practical experience were given in practical classes or ward postings.
Placement Experience
It is a medical college and there are no such placement like things. In the compulsory internship period we get a stripend enough to carry out our daily needs. After the registration certificate is available, you can avail any job in the govt or private sector according to your choice.
College Events
We have rhapsody, the annual fest of the college, where we have multiple events, cultural ceremonies and guest performances. Apart from i, we have Arthralgia, the annual sports meet. Saraswati pujo is being celebrated also and frequent organisation of blood camps or health awareness campaigns are some among others.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible of couse. per semester it is 4500 only, total of 9 semesters. And before the annual examinations we have to pay 1500-2000. During admission they take 2000 extra for arranging id cards and for college development funds. Maximum support of the expenses come from the state government.

I havent opted for any scholarship, you can get scholarships if you are needy by giving income certificate and other docs to the principal.
Campus Life
Boys are certainly more. makjng ratios of around 3:1 in the classes, There are no such parties in the college premises, we have quizzes arranged on a regular basis, and the cultural committee organises many campaigns like for women safety, safe matherhood in form of dramas or roleplays.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostel is a must for us with distant homes, There are 5 hostels for boys-Main boys hostel, new boys hostel, giribabu hostel, normal bethune hostel, BC Roy hostel. For girls there is only one hostel, Sarnomoyee girls hostel, there are several others for the pist graduation trainees.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors constitute the best part of the college, Starting from college life to for long time, they keep in touch, in the college days before exam they used to guide to relieve the excess pressure, we use to celebrate birthdays together, have hostel fests, room feasts, going out to watcj cinema or football match together, many many memories are there.
Admission
The admission process is short. acc to merit list students are asked to verify their documents offline in a day. followed by admission in the college few days after, seniors are very much helpful, they guide the entire process. Verification is being done in kolkata only.
Faculty
The faculties are probably the best than any medical college of this state, they are very much helpful in doubt clearing as well. morever during clinical postings they give an overview of the case and the respective history taking, arriving at diagnosis and management part.
