Course Curriculum Overview

It is a three year graduation. The choose BA Sociology. It was a semester wise couse but the exam is yearly. The exam conducted by combination of two year and exam of 2 semester will be two week gap. On each semester assignment and case analysis will be conducted.

Placement of these course is under socio welfare departments I choosen the graduation course of sociology.

We celebrated the arts fest in our college it is a good experience. It is also a good programme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is semester wise it is feasible First semester fee 3470 second semester fee 2205 third semester fee 2205 fourth semester fee 2205 fifth semester fee 2205 and sixth semester fee is 1945 and total fees is 14235 and also another fees for assignments etc.

I don't opted for any scoarship or any educational loans. Loans and scholarship are available example e grands.

Our campus life is a good experience in my life. Gender ratio is equal for both mens and ladies. Debates assignment and all other programs will be conducted.

Admission

I got admission under my mark list I joined in 2019. I joined a graduation course of BA sociology I choose kerala university because it was the great university and the certificate of this university is valuable in every place. For the admission first applied through online.

Faculty

Each semester has 6 subejects and all subjects are taken by experienced lecturesrs. The lecturesrs are experienced and all lecturesrs under university of kerala. The lecturesrs class are very good and simple for understandable Continuous classes and exams are simplify the course.

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students
