My College Days

CET Govt. of Karnataka for engineering and medical. Got near 18000 rank and 73% in PCM puc. Many of my friends wanted to do engineering and it motivated me to do engineering.come to know from my friends that hit nidasoshi also was one of the good college.

In an average it was good but not enough time to study complete syllabus for exam. I remember firts year all subject are common for all branches and then we need to study our specified branch subject. The subject are digital electronics, communication system, mathematics, field theory, computer communication network and programming languages.

College not provided any internships opportunity. We did our final semester project with help of one small institute in city paying the money from our own pocket. I done project on GSM based diesel monitor with help of two other colleagues. The guidance provided by academy was good.

No placements. The college send student above 60% marks in other colleges to attend campus interview. Only 5 got selected from my batch in infotech entetprises and karmic. I did not got opportunity because I was having less than 60% score.

Fresher day, annual day and send off day. Fresher day I remember to welcome engineering candidates. College management invite some of the motivating speakers and same is on annual day. I seen some descent crowd of 400 to 500. Send off day is limited to department and attended by around 100+ people.

College fee was quite high compare to other good colleges in city. I got free seat with yearly tution fees of 17000 apart from tution fees I have to pay my college fees which around 7000 quit high compare to other colleges which around 2500. Again every semester I have to pay examination fees which is around 125 Rupee's per subject and in each semester we was having around 5 theory and 2 practical subject.

College do not provide any loan facility. I availed loan from Canara bank at interest rate of approximately 10%. College provide quotation to avail loan from banks.

I was first time out side my home. Apart from college it is more challenging to understand the people around you. Gender ratio was good in my department nearly 60:40 little dominated by male but in mechanical almost 99% male dominated. Electrical and computer science together 60:40 male dominated.

I was very emotional boy and very much known in girls as i was handsome. I shared good relationship with seniors from mechanical department which separate me senior of my own department. Many of senior still in touch on Facebook and what's app

Was not good enough. Many people fail because of internal marks and internal marks is on lecturer hand. Lab exam is always boring and dominated by fool in group leaving shy and soft people boring.

Worst faculty, unmatured ego is more important than building student feature. They don't understand how to deliver knowledge and help students to gain knowledge instead they demotivate.
