Decent college to kick start your career

The college management will make sure that you pay a fine for every mistake you done and get away with it.

The opportunities provided on campus were pretty decent. One needs to groom their skills by themselves and not too much dependent on the college. Many MNCs hire in bulk like TCS, cap Gemini, Infy for tech support, Mindtree, etc. The institute will train you for upcoming placements in the 7th semester but they will charge you extra for that.

Tech fests and department fests will be organized by each department. Students from different colleges come to participate. College fest Varchasva celebrated every year and you can expect a DJ and several activities like a catwalk, battle of bands, street dance, etc.

The college fee is pretty expensive if you are outside of Karnataka fee is around 1.8 lakhs per annum. If you are a Karnataka student then the fee reduces drastically to only 40k per annum. College accepts online transfer, DD, bank transfer, etc. The cash you need to submit to the Canara bank account of the college.

No scholarship was provided to me. One can take an education loan from the bank at a very minimal interest rate.

The college has a very good campus surrounded by mountains, the view from the college is very nice. Each department has separate buildings. There is zero tolerance for ragging in this college and the rules and regulations are very strict. The gender ratio is spread well and obviously, you will find more girls in CS/IT department compare to civil and mechanical.

Yes, the hostel rooms are nice and hygienic but the charges are pretty high. I paid around 75000 per annum for a twin sharing room. The hostel rooms are small but comfortable. There are 24 hours water and electricity.

The alumni will help you out to clear the confusions you might have related to your career. Every year some of the alumni will come to share their experience in alumni meet.

I got admission to college through the COMEDK examination and I was looking to Kickstart my career as a software engineer. For outside Karnataka students, one needs to give COMEDK exam and if you are a Karnataka student, you can get admit through the CET exam.

The faculties were good to their point to clarify your doubts but you can't expect much to teach you something out of the box. Most of the faculties in my department were young between 28 to 40 and they have pretty much experience to clarify your doubts to the point.
