All you need to know about RIE

Well every college have some negative and some positives. Regarding mine one, I will rate it as more than average college. It's definitely meets all the qualities I have mentioned above. But one should only opt this who want to become a professional teacher in future.

Course curriculum and exam are well structured. Curriculum is very relevant and immensely fair to make a better professional. Exams are conducted semester wise. The subject matters are mixed altogether that of science and education subjects. Emphasis on practical knowledge is often more highlighted, specifically in B. Ed subjects. Curriculum grooms students to gain industry specific knowledge. This also helps greatly in placements of students.

Placement packages are decent. A very intelligent and wise one can avail a great package. In the last year of degree, Just before the placements very student had to avail internship program of nearly four months in schools.(mine yet to come). Institute also takes special steps to prepare students for the placements. The tentative placement percentage is almost 100. But some students opt for higher studies. Various companies and schools visits the institute every year for the placements. Like podar, zee litera, governments and other private schools as well.

Fest is celebrated in every even sem in the college. Various events include sports activities, cultural activities, scientific events. Students participate in large numbers. Team is constituted along with teachers as their chief. A whole 2 week is alloted for this events. Almost no studies in this time. Students are allowed to freely participate and enjoy these moments.

I must tell you that the fees is very feasible. It is different for different caste students. But almost nil. Like mine is 7000 rs for one year. If you want to join hostel then it is a total of 32000 for you. 18000 for mess and 7000 for room and electricity and water altogether. And rest is the academic fees. Payment mode both online and offline. No additional fees to secure admission. college do provide transparency in fee breakdown.

I haven't opted for any scholarship or any education loan but ncert do provide scholarships for non local students. There is no criteria for eligibility for scholarships, every one can avail it just by filling scholarship form. Scholarships received by students is likely based on their fathers income. Avg sum is 6000 per semester.

I must say that the campus life is very good and enjoyable. Girls outnumber against boys every year. Gender ratio is approx 15 boys for 25 girls in a class. Regarding extracurricular activities, they are conducted in every even semester for in all fields. There is no place for gender, ethinicity. Race, caste, in the institute. The environment is friendly and protected with guidelines for specifics.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. Excellent hostel infrastructure is here. One room for two hostlers. With all needed facilities. A table, chair, bed, cupboard for each hostler, in the rooms. Hostel seats are always available so if no need to stay in pg. Apart from this 24/7 wifi connection, a big TV hall with 74 inch led tv, All sports equipments, a tt table, speakers- all of these are provided in the hostel. A big garden area outside the hostel is there. In sort, the hostel facilities are more than expected for every hostler.

Definitely very helpful, and very informative about future guidance. The college do have alumni network.

I got selected for the admission in this institute in 2017. Here is a brief description about the admission process and exam dates. So, every year ncert conducts a exam named CEE. Registration forms are out around end of April. Exam is held in last week of May every year. Candidates are selected on the basis of marks in their CEE and class 12th together. A merit list is prepared by the ncert. (note- only science and arts students can pursue degree in this institute. There is no bechelor course for commerce students) I opted BSc. Bed course in this college. After 12th my aim was to pursue bachelor degree in science and then go for B.Ed course. This institute provides both degree integrated, and that only in four years. So one less year. This was the main reason I opted this institute. Other primary reasons were excellent infrastructure and Locality, high quality professors, and superb guidance for future is available here. Admission procedures are very simple like of a school. Just submit your documents what have been asked in letter after selection.

Hike in numbers of faculty is not that high. But definitely enough to provide subject clarity. Around 6-7 lectures are attained by the students every day which includes practicals as well. Lectures are qualified and field specific. Use of ICT is mostly preferred by the lecturers.
