I have got good opportunity to study at kanchi kamakoti peetam under the blessing of kamakshamma.
Course Curriculum Overview
First year consists of single semester and post first year it will be two semesters per year. First year is common for all the departments and from second year onwards our core departments starts. On campus interviews are hardly anything in the core branches of EEE.
Placement Experience
No core companies placements. Only software company visit for placement and that to very few companies visit campus.
College Events
Cultural events are periodically conducted by all the departments individually. In each of those events there will be so many events that include paper presentation, poster presentation, K- corner, mime, dance, art from waste, etc are being conducted here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I studied it was 48k per semester and hostel fee was about 65k/year. Additional exam fees, book fee, event fees, placement fees, lab fee etc are also will be charged and the breakup also will be shown for the complete fee. Modes of payment is by only paying at the nearby located bank and need to get the receipt stamped.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I have not opted for any scholarships, if in case if it's required any person can opt for the same to get loans.
Campus Life
Gender ratio of all the departments are not the same. If we look at ECE, CSE departments ratio will be 50-50 and when it comes to EEE, MECHANICAL, CIVIL- it will be 10female and 90 male. Labs are well maintained, sports events are conducted nation wide.
Alumni/Alumna
Not helpful actually, they will not be in touch with juniors once they leave campus. They just want juniors for ragging. Nevertheless there is a anti-ragging community in out campus.
Admission
I was introduced to the college by my friend and we both were interested in taking ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING department. We understand that in Tamilnadu core braches of EEE and Mechanical is good over there. So I opted and selected EEE as choice and got an opportunity to study.
Faculty
About the faculty- few of them are very well experienced and very few are below average. About their age - they are aged between 30-50 years and about the qualification most of them are Mtech and very few are PhD qualified faculty. Very few have relevant industry experience.
