Know before get admission.

Every college has its pros and cons in my college pros were more like good faculty good placement and great campus life. And few cons like mess not good and late entry not allowed.

I took 3 entrance examination, IIT, AIEEE, & UPSEE.At that time IIT has 2 exams so I successful in pre exam but could not clear mains.in UPSEE My rank was good so I take admission in IPEC because it was near Delhi and had good rank in UP ENGINEERING COLLEGES.I got Madan mohan malviya of Gorakhpur in first cut off but I left that because of distance.So I got Electronics in IPEC and I joined here.my rank was 2200 and I wanted Electronics so I join here.at that time SEE rank has very much value.so getting good college was not easy.

My branch Electronics is really very good and lots of scope in it, my course started with basic subjects in first semester after that second semester little technical and from second year full technical class started.At that time lab experiments also had very much importance. 6 hour classes and 2 hours Labs.Engineering is an interesting field so just jump in it and learn many things.

In my college many companies visited every year for campus selection. Big name like Airtel, wipro, Infisis and local good companies also.The highest package was that year 5lacs and 80% campus selection.It was really nice to get selected in 3rd year.

Many events like fresher party to September festival and then Diwali and Christmas then after winter semester exams holi festival and sports and in between college arranged company visit like we went to Samsung plant to see how work happen there.

In my time fee was really very low.approx 34000 annually. After that it increased to 1.5 lac a year.hostel charges, mess etc not included. This is basically tution fee.

Scholarship provided by government to needy children. All banks provided loans and college gave relaxation in tution fees for meritorious students only.

In IPEC campus life was really good, 6 festivals in whole year, we Went out for pulse polio also in near by areas. Sport fest and training and placement was nice.In IPEC faculty used to focus in all area of college life like good classroom teaching then good sports sprit.Overall campus was good.

Hostel was normal as every college has but in our hostel it divided year wise for fresher separate building for all branches. Same first year separate and so on. Mess was good only in early days, rest we eat usually outside.

Yes in my college HODs have good network in big companies so they come frequently in April. If someone miss the campus placements, our college arranged separate placement interviews. Seniors were helping at my time. If any problems in college they provide notes and help in lab work.

Exam structure is, there are 8 semester so 8 university exams in between every semester 3 seasonal exams and practical and Viva exams.

When I take admission, at that time all branches HODs are iconic personnel. Like alumni of IITs and Some of retired reputed college dean. And faculty was good specially in first year so strict environment. So everyone in our class just clear first year after that technology point of view faculty was awesome. Knowledgeable, ground to earth helpful faculty.
