The college is known for its connections and the placements offers. Overall all the money that we pay to the college is really worth it and the placement, college life, friends and all the memories do pay the students back in their life.

Majorly there are two exams per semester - mid sems and end sems. But there are many continuous evaluations that appears sometimes in the form of surprise tests. Students get their first industrial exposure after second year in the name of practice school-1. Then in the last year, they experience practice school-2 for 6 months which helps students grabbing a better placement package.

There is a mandatory session known as PS-1 which students experience for 2 months after 2nd year which provides an industry experience. At the end of 3rd year, many students grabs the opportunity of paid internships, but this is not a necessary step recommend by college. At the end of last year there is PS-2 for 6 months and this really helps in the placement procedure. More than 300 companies visits campus every year including Google, Microsoft, Goldman sachs, etc.

The sports fest known as BOSM is full of energy and provides opportunities to all colleges to compete and showcase their talent in the field. The cultural fest known as OASIS is the second largest cultural fest of India. Students wait whole year just for this 5 day event which runs continuous for 96 hours and that makes it an unique event itself. The technical fest is called APOGEE and is held in the month of march which tests the technical skills of students and capabilities of various clubs of the college.

The fees is quite expensive for a middle class family. The tution fees is ?170000 approximately and there is a rise in fees every year. Although some students do get scholarships based upon their performance and family income. Other expenses including hostel fee, mess fee, aren’t much as compared to other colleges.

There is a programme MCN which provides scholarships to students based upon their performance and family income. Many students have availed education loan. The process is not complicated but still you may need to visit the bank for few times in the starting. Every semester you need to write an application to the band to pay your fees.

We experience a wonderful life here with the availability of clubs for interests of everyone and various eateries near every hostel. Although the sex ratio is not good, there are 8 boys per girl for the batch of 2018. But still there’s a lot to enjoy for everyone. The sport’s ground known as GYM-G is an amazing place for those who love playing outside. There’s an indoor game place too known as SAC.

Alumni network is so strong that every month BITS gets a huge donation from them. All the seniors are caring and always ready to help their juniors.

There is a tough competition to get into this college and only some brilliant minds can get into it. There is an entrance exam known as BITSAT which is conducted online every year in the month of may. A student can appear twice in this exam and gets 3 hours to complete the examination.

All the professors are Phd certified and holds up good experience. Practical knowledge along with the theoretical is provided at required pace. Teachers try their best to explain, but if still any doubt left, students can always email to their professors.
