Generally for internship you should apply during 3rd year of your degree which is short term for 2months. no last semester internship allowed. College on campus placement is very low negligible so better prepare yourself for.

As this institute is semi autonomous (fund wise autonomous) under the state government, so fee structure is quite good and balanced. You can get sponsored you education fee (tuition fee) if you are coming from economically backward and week class. Which is around 80% of total academic fee. No, there is hostel available for handicapped diploma holder only, I was day scholar, living in America city so there was no need to have one, but locally there are several options in near by community available. where you can get PG like accommodation for 3500-6000 per month. Or even room base accommodation for 1000-3000 per month totally depends on you.

Generally state government organises entrance exam for science students passing there 10+2 schooling. every year in March they provide form for nominal feeneed to fill and then exam happenes in may ND results comes in june. based on state rank under the general and reserve categories you will get counselling and fill college, this college is not good for top 10k rank holders.

Generally facilities qualified and comes under AICTCE and UGC norms. But there are some contract based faculty who are not permanent and less interested in academic teaching. Faculties are less qualified with industrial experience so they can not give you idea of corporates. So be prepare yourself for exams on your own.
