Remarks
The steps taken by managment is fair good but the implementation are not as hope. Some good initiatives are also taken as gate coaching,aptitude classes and other expert lecture for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is basically designed with perspective and help of professor of IIT Rurkee. The curriculum helps in understanding the course in better view and also enables us to do better preparation for industry point of view. There are 2-3 industrial visits organises by the department.
Placement Experience
They are not arrange many company but are able to invite 2-3 company or less which select 8-10 students overall from the 6 streams of B.Tech
College Events
There is only some events celebrated in university which are mainly sports event and for inter college championship. Sometimes cultural fest are organised but they are also held once in 2-3 years. University doesn't actively organise cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I say fee structure is moderate as it is neither expensive nor feasible and university also doesn't provide any financial aid to the students as they did not see whether the student is able or unable to pay the fees. Atleast the university provide option of submitting fees in two installment.
Fees and Financial Aid
No the university doesn't offer any type of scholarship to its students.Students can apply for scholarship in state or central government portal which will come in month february to march nest year.
Campus Life
The gender ratio are 8:2 in which 8 are boys and 2 are girls. In first year fresher party is organised by 2nd year students then farewell is also held by 3rd year student in month of February. The labs are not so maintained as some apparatus are not working.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes seniors are quite helpful but the alumnis are not much helpful as they do not interact with students. The seniors are also english and sometimes they are also not helpful
Admission
I was selected through UPSEE which is conducted once a year and after exam I got 43000 rank and through 4 round councelling I got this university as at my rank this is suitable university for chemical engineering and apart from this it is in my hometown so I selected this university.
Faculty
The average lecture length is 55 minutes and the classes are from 9 am to 4pm. All the faculty of our department are holder of master's degree in chemical from different iit and other institute. The average age of faculty is 25-35 years. The lecturer did not hold any specific industry's experience.
