About My College

The classes conducted in the college are very poor. There are many staffs who could not teach properly and even not attend the class, always Sitting at their rooms and doing nothing.

There are twelve semesters in total to complete the course. Each semester takes six months to complete. In each semester we got written paper exam and lab practices. At third and fourth year we got projects to complete the semester. In written exam we got both theory and maths calculative papers. At least there are six written exams and three lab are present per semester. The time for writing exams are 3 hours.

In my college when the student is at third year they got to attend placement classes. The placement classes are mostly conducted by titan and mahindra companies. Only the students who got no arrears are eligible for attaining the placement class. The companies that visited my college for placement drives are mahindra and titan. The percentage of students gets elected in campus interview are very low.

There are three events that are conducted in my college. They are Freshers, cultural, Farewell events. The fresher event is conducted for first year students, the cultural is for all students and the farewell is conducted for final year students. The amount required for conducting these events are mostly collected among students. Only students work to make the event successful.

The fee structure for my college is very low. We got to pay more than ten thousand rupees in our firat year only after that the fees for coming years are very low. The payments are done in the internet. After we got to pay exam fees of 150 rupees per paper. After that there are no additional fees or charges to pay.

My college offers scholarship opportunities for the students. All the students are eligible for applying the scholarship. The amount differs depends on criteria such as first graduate, community, stay in hostel. The average scholarship for the student is 5000 per annum.

The life in campus is super. We are mostly at classes and labs. The gender ratio for boys and girls are 50:50 in all the branches except mechanical branch where all the students are male. The morning full are classes after that lab until the college closes.

The hostel facility is available in the college. It got seperate hostel for boys and girls. We must pay about seven thousand per annum for hostel fees. There are plenty of rooms in the hostel. Four students are allowed to stay in each room. The mess is seperate from the hostel. The mess is conducted by private. We must also pay mess fees per semester.

The notifications from the main branches are very poor. They gave every notification at the very last minute. Other things are about good. Our seniors are very good and helps us in studies, sports and managements.

This institute is close to my home. It is also one of the braches of Anna University. It requires less fees for annual. There are hostel facilities also available in this college. My relatives guided me that it is a good college for engineering. The staffs and faculties in the college are friendly when I visited. I got admitted into this college by my cut off marks in HSC.

There are five branches in my college. They are Mechanical, Civil, ECE, CSE, EEE. Each branch got its own staffs and professors. There are atleast eight staffs in each branches. At my branch there are nine staffs. They do not conduct classes that much properly. Most of the periods in the class are free.
