Aayaan Khan's Review On University Institute Of Technology, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya - [UIT- RGPV], Bhopal

The college over all was a happening place for me, ti had my best time in college, although the managment was the worst but being a GOVERNMENT college you should expect the managment to be sloppy. I have to mension the fact that the managment was so irresponsible that in the time of summer they didn't even repair the water cooler of departments.

The course was well versed, although the curriculum have not been updated from a long time, we have so much new to explore now but the current curriculum doesn't involve that. The university is best in terms of practical knowledge specially in my branch.

The placements i must say are no good. The IT companies are the only mass recruiters. Other than IT companies hardly 1 or 2 companies comes for the core branches hence, the students other than CS or IT have no choise but to apply for the jobs in IT sectorm leaving the core branch behind and working as a computer science engineer.

There are some cultrual and technical events celebrated on very small scale in the college apart from that i feel sorry that i was not exposed to tech fests and other big cultural events in my college, being a government college it's a shame that such events are not organized

The best thing about UIT is the fee stucture and that is the point where it become on of the best college to study. The fee structure is very feasible.to be very honest most of the students who took admission in uit is because of the fee structure nor the study nor the exposure.

Yes i opted for the minority scholarship being a minority student it's the only privilege given to me but that the scholarship came only in the 2nd year after that,they didn't allotted me the scholarship even after me applied it every year, i must say the scholarship department is very lazy and they make the students suffer alit to fill the forms.

Over all if some one ask then i would say it's ok. Means yes i would like to mension the labs are preety good specially for my branch, we have performed all kind of experiments and tests there. It"s one of the best thing in my college, all students live like a big family and there is no discrimination

Another problem of this college is the hostel facility, unfortunately for boys appearing in the under graduate program the hostel facility is not available. It's a shame really that they do not provide hostel for UG boys. Talk about partiality

Yes they are very helpful, our senior were always very helpful and welcoming from day 1. I hope everybody get senior like we did and feel the same respect towads them as we do up until now. They were all very cool, the alumi network i would say is not strong enough, yess we communicate but not frequently

I completed my diploma in electrical enginnering and based on the stater merit list i got selected in the UIT rgpv in the second year of engineering. The admission process had councelling rounds for allotment of seats. There are 15 seats in the college for each branch.

Senior faculties are brilliant, that's what you expect from them. But there are faculties who were there based on their caste categories rather than the actual talent and experience hence because of that we students has to suffer a lot. I believe a teacher should be judged based on it's own capabilities.
