Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is as per Calcutta University.It is relevant and fair.The curriculum provides industry approach to students.It is helpful in securing campus placements and various times, industry visit is also organized. The curriculum completely plays an important role in making us a better professional.
Placement Experience
Actually, no one was placed from my course from my college. No placement took place. Generally, there is very less placement from my college. There are a very few companies which might turn out for placement. So the question of the percentage of students does not arise and the same goes with the package offered.
College Events
Events, Fests are continuously held in our college conducted by the students union. This encourages the students to come to college as everyone is interested in extra-curricular activities.In every new session, fresher's and farewell party is organised by the students union of the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite feasible.My program fee is ?500 half yearly.All modes of payment are accepted like cash and bank transfer. Additional fees or charges are not required except a small donation to students union.The college provides complete transparency in fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship options are available for under privileged students. The eligibility criteria is their certificates and documents.It is very simple to get scholarship if you are deserving.
Campus Life
Campus life is good as we have many extra curricular activities.The college is only for boys so gender ratio is of no answer. Co-Ed college is also setup at SaltLake campus some years back. Every year various kind of sports events and competition are held and big prizes are awarded for tbe same.
Alumni/Alumna
No alumini as such except the students union of the college which is very helpful. They help the students in every possible manner.All are very friendly and always in support of the students.They help each and every student in need.
Admission
I am a commerce background student so I opted b.com honours course. The main Factor to choose this institution is less strictness of attendance as i am pursuing CA side by side. Admission process is simple.we need to fill online form and wait for merit list. After merit list is out, we need to go to college on specified date and submit the required documents and admission fees.
Faculty
Yes the teachers allotted are qualified in their subjects and have a good hold of them. Teachers are really helpful. They help students in each and every way they can. There are always exceptions as in our college. Some teachers are a bit rude and students get offended by their behaviour.Our principal sir also teaches us sometimes.
