Our college is the one of the oldest college of Kolkata. And every legends are belong from Asuthosh College.

It's a semester wise exam. Every BSC Honours subject has practical. One Academic season 2 exam happened in this college about 6 months difference but, we students are really getting tired and panic to complete all the syllabus. Basically, our college is under Calcutta University.

Our college has a priority in Kolkata. You know our national football captain Sunil Chhetri who graduated from Asuthosh college. The golden boy of Indian football Chuni Goswami graduated from Asuthosh college. Famous singer Anupam Roy graduated from Asuthosh college. Etc etc. Our college students get rank in university.

In this matter, our college is very fast. Every year our college organises a fest. Where has so much competition and we have to compete with another college? Maximum 15 colleges participate in our fest. Our fest also invited special Bollywood singer like Ash king, Anupam Roy etc. Our college organise winter carnival, food carnival, Football league, Cricket Leauge, Badminton Leauge and annual sports also. Our college is donating food for the poor people in this pandemic situation.

If your subject is practically based then your fees will be high. I was admitted to this college with 8800 rupees. And one thing that is easy to do that they don't make us harassed because I noticed that another college was taking fees for 2nd time in a year because of the 2nd semester. But our college took it in one time. So I'm thankful for that really.

Yes WB. Government give us a scholarship based on our marks. So we need to perform well and then we can able to get the scholarship. And if you thinking about the college portion in scholarship then in the ground floor there has the office of Asutosh college. And on the 1st floor has the Vice principal room. You can do anything whatever you want but you have to wait sometime.

Especially our college has four campus building. Our college is the same ratio of gender. We take chai, coffee in the canteen and start our debate, joke etc. Actually, it's fun. But it's what we all needed because that thing can give us relief from the teacher pressure.

No, I didn't apply for a hostel. Because I don't know that the college has a hostel also. By the way, college nearest pg is so highly rated about 6000 rupes but But the mess is good for a middle class family because it's worth is 1500.

Yes, our college has a union. And the union members are really really helpful. They help you all the time whenever you want them.

I got admission by my number. I took geography because this department is one of the oldest department in not only this college but also this city and state. About 100 years old. And also I love this subject. And I got 97 out of 100 so I chooses this one.

Our college has 34 departments. Every department has a minimum of 7 professors and 3 non teaching staff. Our college provides us with cold water in summer. The college is on the 5th floor and every floor has a toilet. Profferesers and students have a separate toilet. Our college has a big hall for the cultural program etc.
