Review of the University

Overall facilities and fee structures is very good but life in the campus is quite not intresting, politics among students and teachers is very much and frequent political disturbances.

Very supportive and experienced faculty, and a lots of resources. Being an oldest institution in this field the resources and the methods of teaching and giving their knowledge is very good, regular visits to the fields for understanding the practical aspects of the work.

Placements occurs in various national and international organisations. Various NGOs working in the field of conservation and higher research work.

Wildlife related days, Founder of the University day, and Eid are the major festivals celebrated. Sir syed day is the major event which is the most awaited event of the University it is so big and everybody is full of enthusiasm on this day various cultural events and a grand feast is organised.

Very minimal fee structure. Hostel are very cheap and so as dining but sometimes students have to wait for room allotment, fees is very minimal and can be afforded by many, and for the students of poor backgrounds state or national schlorship by government will be there for reimbursement.

State level fee reimbursement was availed by me as my father's income is less than 2 lacs per annum, anybody with such low invome can avail this scholarship.

Being an Islamic influenced campus life is not comparable to other campus, you cannot see girls practising in the ground and walking with their personal choives of appearals, gender ratio is quite balanced, Muslim students are in majority. But no. Of events are quite good including various protest against governments.

Yes, but room allotment was very difficult. Personally i feel that hostels are not hygenic and the dining facilities does not follow quality standards, no provisions for special students like Hindus or jains for pure veg options. One has to compromise very much to live in overcrowded rooms and dirty washrooms.

Alumnis are very supportive and are on major posts in the field of wildlife that will be helpful for us.

One of the few institutions in India providing this course, got to know about an alumni in a research project. So i filled a form and passed an entrance exam, then counselling was happened and we get admission in this college. It is a very simple procedure and no. Of student appear are also very less.

Faculty is very experienced and helps in the overall theoretical and practical knowledge of the students and recommend to various organisations. Sometimes irregularities can be seen in taking lectures but they are very supportive and willing to help students everytime.
