All about SRKR

The only thing I don't like about my college is it's a little bit small when compared to other colleges. It's around 30 acres. And the thing I like about my college most is the way the faculty treat the students. They don't show any bias.

The course curriculum is based on the instructions given by JNTUK. To be honest it's outdated, old but it's enough for today's world. Yes, it allows us to do some research. It's fair enough. Exam structure is also based on the instructions of JNTUK. Yes, a lot of industrial visits are organised to gain some practical experience. They train our aptitude which helps us in placements. They improved our communication skills through various interactive sessions.

TCS, INFOSYS, AMAZON, TECH MAHINDRA etc are some companies which visited out campus this year. They generally have three rounds in the recruitment process. I don't know about them completely. 80 percent of the students from CSE department will be placed. Our college conducts various sessions to improve our coding, communication, aptitude skills. Which helps us in placements.

The first thing I like about my college is we celebrate fest for each department separately. They conduct various technical, cultural programs during these fests. The great thing about these are only students will organise these programs. We go to nearby colleges and ask them to participate in any of the events which are organised during the fest.

Fee is 110000 per annum. In college they don't accept direct payments but they will give a DD and we have to pay that in a bank. No need to pay additional fee to secure the admission. No the college does not provide any transparency in fee breakdown. The fee is same for all the programs in our college. The fee is feasible for a professional course.

Our college doesn't provide any scholarships. Only the scholarships are given by the government. But the college helps us to get an educational loan. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is decided by the government. I am not eligible for any of the scholarship given by the government.

The gender ratio is around 60:40 in the college. The college always conducts so many workshops by associating with lots of companies. Everyone in our college are treated equally. No bias is shown on any of the criteria. Students only organise various competitions in sports which are monitored by the college. We have robotics club in our college which recently made a little bot also.

Yes I opted for hostel. The college hostel's are pretty good. A room is shared by 4 students. Every room with individual bathroom. The hostel is maintained very neat and hygienic. Food is also very good. Non veg twice a week. For students who are rentals outside apart from the food and electricity bills room rent is around 2. 5k per month. I suggest to prefer hostel.

Yes, seniors are very helpful. They guide us in many issues. The alumni sometimes comes to our college to Interact with us. They will tell us how to approach our goal and main thing is they motivate us. And our seniors will never let us depressed they always try to motivate us to do new things.

SRKR Engineering college has some amazing experience in the field of engineering. And I chose engineering only because I was very interested in it. Admissions can be done in two ways. 1) Through entrance exam 2) Management quota. I wrote the entrance exam and got admission in SRKR. And the entrance exam is a joint entrance examination for all the engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh Eamcet.

There are around 50 faculty in our CSE department. 10 of them are professors and remaining are assistant professors. We have a lot of young faculty. These young faculty are very good in teaching and clarifying out doubts. They also do various courses along with us. Most of them have various certificates in various courses. They clarify most of our doubts in our college. And we will contact them by mail and what's app.
