Entrance Preview
Uttar Pradesh Technical University Exam. This is a state university entrance exam carried out in Uttar Pradesh for various Technical Courses offered by 700 colleges under this university. The university is now known as APJ Abdul Kalam University. I took this exam in 2011 and I scored 130 marks and my rank was 33762.
Internships Opportunities
College allows 1 month internship program as per course curriculum but College only offer Aptitude and Reasoning courses and for internship you have to look for the company by yourself. College provides the certificate of approval for internship. For me, I went for internship from BHEL, haridwar and for that neither I had to pay any fee nor I got any salary for the 1 month internship program.
College Events
In college, most of the events which gets celebrated every year are Republic day and Independence day. Cultural event, College Fests. It includes events at inter college level in technical, cultural, sports and literary departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is not expensive in respective of other private colleges under same university.1st year fee is around Rs. 1,10,000.001st year fee is around Rs. 1,00,000. 1st year fee is around Rs. 95,000 1st year fee is around Rs. 90,000. In each year, either you pay the whole amount in single time or you can break the fee into 2 times and can pay in 2 installment as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
University provides Scholarship of around 90% of fee amount (around 80,000-90,000 rupees) for those whose parent's income is less than 1 lac per annum. This helps the poor students to achieve their dream without any financial problems .Along with this college provides scholarship of sum 10,000 ,5,000, 3,000 to the student of each departments who secured 1st, 2nd, 3rd respectively in their departments.
Alumni/Alumna
From last year they started to have alumni meet every year so that college-mates who are not connected from past friends and college can remains into network .Which is a very good initiative as it helps you to remain in touch of you college friends as well as faculties.
