There is a lack of space in the campus though It has three buildings.
Course Curriculum Overview
3years course, 1 +1 +1 basis. The exam is conducted by the University but the practical exams are conducted in the college. The teachers and staffs are helpful always. They guide in a decent way to do better in papers. Libraries are also good, the annexe library is better.
Placement Experience
Placement is done for computer science, electronics, physics, chemistry and mathematics. TCS, Wipro were there.
College Events
Each and every possible occasion can be celebrated. College fest, new year, Navin baran, 25 Baisakh, annual sports, cricket match and many more. All of the students enjoy themselves together. After all, it is a college in the city of joy! The college auditorium is well equipped.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yearly and in budget. It is cheaper in Kolkata. Yearly it was around 5000 rupees for B.Sc. But it differs from stream to stream. Like more fees for subjects having use of practical laboratories like physics, chemistry computer science electronics.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship was availed by me. But any student can get scholarships if he can perform well in the university exams.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni are helpful and they are very bright students. They are all over the country even the world.
Admission
Submitting an admission application online, I was shortlisted and attended the counselling. All the documents were verified and thereafter I was asked to submit the admission fees. The total procedure took a whole day as there was a long queue in the bank for deposits.
Faculty
There were 5 lecturers in the department at that time. Apurva ray was Head of the department. Ashim Sarkar, sukanta bhunia, nilima Bhatta, Nandan Ghosh were there as faculties. They all are good in their field. No doubt a student can learn a lot from them.
