Good college in Uttar Pradesh but average college in India

College have good infrastructure, the environment is peace and calm, faculties is average, placement is average but good in case of CS/IT students. College management is not that good however there is a good transparency.

Course Curriculum is more or less similar to any another University which mainly focused on theoretical part rather than practical oriented. In today scenario the Course Curriculum is not upto marked, however for basic theoretical understanding of the subject this curriculum fullfill. Curriculum is not a research driven and it is not that much benefited for campus placement except gaining basic theoretical knowledge. Labs are conducted for almost core subjects to get some insight of gaining practical knowledge. College does not organize any industrial visit however there are some seminar conducted by industry Eg:- BSNL

Placement is overall good for Computer science and IT students as mainly software companies come for recruitment. Every year companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL recruit our students of package 3-4 lakhs per annum. In 2019-20 240 students have placed in Infosys. Some good software companies (paying 6-8 lakhs) come and recruit it. Some management companies also come and recruit student and they pay good salary. Highest package they give is 12 lakhs per annum this year. Our college have recently tied with cocubes, AMCAT due which some students able to get placed through it. For placement process a good attendance have to maintained in final year and there should not be any displinary action against student. First the mail come by TPO about the company that are comming for placement and students have to fill google forms. Then companies take written test/ GD then they take interview either in campus or in companies office. Overall placement is around 60-70% while CS IT placement is around 75% + while ECE/Electrical have 50%. Core companies does not come much for placement in our college. College conduct mandatory Personality development classes in second year for placement process apart from that college does not help much for prepartion of college placement.

There is no fest organized by our college. However there are may small technical, cultural events are organised by the college. Fresher party, kite flying, farewell party, diwali and holi celebrations, garba nights(for girls) is organised by the college. There is one interdepartment sports event organised every year for about a month. Every technical spcities member conduct some workshop.

Total fees is 1.25 lakhs per annum. Mode of payment is DD or NEFT. At the time of admission students have to pay some additional charge for first time and security deposit of 15000. Detail fee structure with fee breakdown is mention in college website thus college provide transparency in their fee breakdown.

Yes our university provide scholarship whose parents income is less. You need to register on UP scholarship website and fill the form then you need to submit the form in college registar office. Scholarship amount is given according to the reservation category. SC and ST get more amount of scholarship than OBC and general. Scholarship varies from 50% to 75% of tution fees.

Gender ratio is 70:30(boys to girls ratio) approximately. Majority of students belong to Uttar Pradesh. In our college various technical and cultural societies are there that regularly conduct various events in our college. Also these societies members goes to various places for various national and intra college level competition. Workshop are conducted but they are less. Technical seminar is also conducted. In our college students does not discriminate against any race, colour, gender, caste. There is no political fights or fights related to caste and religion. No discrimation in recruitment and participation in societies, parties on the basis of caste and religion however a good looking girl and a rich guys get better chance for selection in cultural as well as technical societies.

Our college conduct alumni meeting every year but in this there is no interaction with students, only for faculties. Students can exchange phone number on your own and can interact with them but college does not provide any meetings or interaction with them. Yes the seniors are helpful and give valuable suggestions to junior.

I had given UPSEE Exam which is the entrance exam by which I get this college. This college is bit reputed college in Ghaziabad Noida in term of academics and placement. For admission process there is a online counseling in which you have to fill the college and branch according to your choice and then based on your rank in UPSEE Exam you will get one college along with the branch you selected and then you after confirming there will be documents verification. This process start after the announcement of results of UPSEE Exam within a week. At that time there was 5 round of counseling. Whole process take a month.

In each department there are around 50 lecturer in our college. The average age of lecturer is around 30-40 years and all are M.tech graduate, most of them have done post graduation in IITs and NITs and some have done Phd. All the associate lecturer, professor and HoD have PhD degree. Few lecturer are good in solving doubts of students but many lecturer are not that good in solving doubts but it does not mean they don't know but I think they not able to explain clearly. Only few lecturer are expertise in their subjects, rest of it know only that much that are required for course curriculum. Few lecturer have some industrial experience. Almost half of lecturer have some certifications and publish some research paper in various national seminar and journal.
