Remarks

My college is the most dynamic and historical college of the whole bihar. It have a beautiful past and a glorious fame but when you come close and see what actual it became now then you might get raise a big question on the administration and the govt too. Who can't maintain the old reputation of my college in last 20 years but apart from that in few years we had some small development in our college. I hope it will get back it's lost reputation and history.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

To be honest my opinion on exam structure is very dull and it's not just here. If you will look around in other states of India you will find the same problem so you just can't point on Patna College. My course is a fun course but due to lack of practical classes it's a biryani without salt. One big problem is that they don't have any campus placement.

Placement Experience

0.5

No they don't do any of these but few teachers arrange communication between some students and organization so those student can pursue their internship. The lack of good syllabus is one of the reason of why a common student can't find a job by him/her self.

College Events

1.5

In my college I have been a part of few events but my faculty and my college arrange almost 15-20 events in an single year. Few bits and few small ones. Students do participate in all of these events. Every single events they organise is very meaningful and do have a big message behind it. students get to know alors of things due to this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It got increased in the vocational courses this year but in terms of college who have give graduation in mass communication. It is stil quite cheap but for middle class and poor families it's very expensive. The fee structure is a major part of any college. My college does not provide break down in fees at all. They are so many additional fees charged by the college. we pay or fees in both online and offline form.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college literally sucks at this I mean they won't give you any scholarship and neither help you to get it from the state govt. people are so lazy around here. Since my college is a govt college I don't need to explain about how things go around here if you want to get a scholarship and need help from the college staffs and faculty.

Campus Life

2

My college have 70% population of male and 30 percent population of females and yes our college do give gender qualities to both genders. We do cultural programs but in even celebrate different festivals together. Diversity of our college is very strong but due to few people it won't last long all the time.

Alumni/Alumna

Well there is no such thing called Alumni meets or network in my college. Even though it can help us in job placements and better opportunities to work but my college sucks at this. Their are few pass out students I know but they are very helpful.

Admission

I live near to this college and it is one of the most reputed govt college in whole over Bihar so I gave the entrance examination in the start of April 2017. I did marvellous in my entrance exam and scored 7th rank on the merit list. and I got selected for the interview. then I gave the interview to and again topped on the final list. And then I took admission here.

Faculty

3.5

My facilities are those teachers who are not even permanent in my college. They are guest teachers but apart of that they are marvelous. Our HOD is new but she is doing pretty well. None of them are less qualified than Masters and P. HD. In my college it's necessary to qualifying NEET to be a part of our Faculty. They explain things very well and they have huge knowledge in the field of mass communication.

Placement Experience:

Final-year students are eligible for the placement. Companies like HDFC, Vivo, etc. visit the campus and offer packages up to 16 lakh. The highest package offered was 16 lakh and the average package offered is 8 lakhs. Around 70% of students get placement from the campus. This college does not provide master's degree courses therefore I would be applying to some other college outside the city for my master's degree in the same course.
