Remarks

It needs to be improved by the officials. It is students friendly but management should support students by offering many more scholarship like other universities. Staff should be more dedicated to helping students than now in financial aspect rather than considering their minimum financial support to research students. Schemes for Research and development should be availed to staffs to promote the best outcome of Research and Development works, paper publishing works of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

We had undergone various activities in education as well as social activities in our curriculum itself. Unlike other courses, we had an equal number of theory and practical papers. If we aren't qualified for either practical or theory we have to clear by attending both papers. Only we can write arrears in an even or odd semester system that we failed.

Placement Experience

3.5

Faculty of Engineering, Arts and Science, Medicine have the vast opportunity of being recruited in various forms as they have the wide opportunity of availing companies. But our Agriculture faculty is not good enough to avail companies for the campus interviews because of limited no. of Agri oriented companies in India.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is framed by the state government of Tamilnadu by considering central government educational policies and appellate bodies/authorities of various courses. Exam fees are common for every semester. For registration Rs. 90 and for certificate/Marksheet Rs. 180 and for every paper in the semester Rs. 180 had been charged. The hostel fee structure was separately charged.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed post matric university scholarship and my first graduate scholarship during my college. You will get a scholar of around Rs. 12500 for post matric Rs. 7000 and for first graduate Rs. 5500.

Campus Life

4

Awesome period so far in my life, out of 1000 around 700 were girls in our batch, Gender ratio at an average in our stream is 3:7(Male: Female). Our university paves way for the outcome of the talent's in every aspect of human life even in sports, musical, club activities, etc. To promote our minds our university conducts various debates too. To enlight our minds speeches of various motivational and elite personalities were called for guest lecture too.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, As Agriculture is a professional course and curriculum of the course is most time bounded, it is necessary to opt for hostel life ourself to attend classes properly and regularly to avail friends help. Rooms are allotted according to room size and wish of inmate and students. Food and maintenance are of average quality. The need to rejuvenate infrastructure and maintenance should be properly monitored.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni spread everywhere in the world. They tend for our university activities and promoting infrastructure too. They help our aspirants by their valuable suggestions and guidelines in settling our lives.

Admission

I got admitted to my university through the state merit list by considering the 12th standard HSC examination in Tamilnadu. I got the overall rank of 230 against 1000 students intake. But I got admitted as the 75th candidate in counselling. I confirmed my admission as a 13th member. In counselling, I had two options is Agriculture another is horticulture. I choose Agriculture as my wish.

Faculty

4

Our university is undertaken by the Government of Tamilnadu act 2013, by the state as one of the State University of Tamilnadu by Hon'ble CM at that time Dr J. Jayalalitha. our teachers are qualified for the teaching profession by NET/SET qualifications and entrance cum interview conducted by the university.
