Remarks

My college is best for me, here I learn many things, I developed and now I am very professional in all the sides. Earlier I had less confidence but after admission in this college and learn with them, after 2 year I have the right confidence and I think I am ready for industry.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Not only my course, even all the courses are much better, if you admitted to the University then you can realise that you have made best decision. Yeah, exam structure are fair and the exam questions based on 10th mathematics, physical science, life science, general knowledge, english. and this college give you better internships and placement as well. Even for students, they organised many seminar's to the prominat person and feel free to us for the industry.

Then in all semester we got internships ( aaj taak, Zee, ei samay. ) our seniors I mean masters, they got their placements in this lockdown.

4.5

We celebrated all, like all. Starting in January to till December we celebrated all the small and big events like Netaji's birthday, Swami Vivekananda's birthday, Holi, Durga puja, Cake mixing ceremony, all birthday of the special persons, semester exchange program etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is not much expensive, my total 3 years courses fees 1lakh 75 thousands only. And the fees in based on examination, lectures, library, dresses and some purpose. And 10000 for the secure charge which is return in the last semester. In this university they take the fees in per semester in advance.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opted. But college offers scholarship based on the your HS mark sheet and also the entrance exam rank. If you have 80% marks then you are eligible to opted the scholarship and also if you ranked under 100 in the entrance exam then you can eligible for it.

Campus Life

4.5

Our university is raging free campus and here no gender ratio or diversity, in this college people treat the same value for the all. Extra curricular activities are great in this university. Mass communication lab is very professional and we have our own radio channel and room. We have a professional studio and many prominat person's were came to learn us. Many honorable journalists also came to learn us in every week. And I meet everyone in this campus and I am from a middle class family but I never feel like that, my classmates always feel like their friends and feel free to the campus. My second home, this campus and their no racism, no cast value, no money value, no politics and no sexual harassment.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I opted the hostel and the hostel rooms are fantastic. In one room only stay 2 person and the hostel is a 4 floor flat. And the charges for hostel per month 9000 but it gave together in 3 month means 27000. And in the side of college area, has many PG's and many friends also stay in the PG.

Alumni/Alumna

Our batch is the first batch, we are the senior. But we are very much helpful, for our juniors we made a program and enjoy together with them and our juniors like our friends. So for this, juniors also respect us.

Admission

I got admission from the entrance exam. At first I filled up the form online then, I had given the exam and I was selected then I called the University and they gave me the details and also they said the date to admission under that day and then me and my father were went the University and admited me. I chosen B. A (hons)mass communication and journalism because of my interest, I have the passion in this field.

Faculty

5

In my courses all semester subjects were changed but faculties are not changed, for some subjects our university access the good professor and some times the field person for us. They are many of us had work in the field min 10 years. Some faculties are PhD students. And for them, one line-out they are best, they gave their 100% to understand us and good lecture, not any boring. They are just like our friends, family, they never feel like rude.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the theory part of our curriculum isn't much relevant or prepares for real - world applications, only some basic information is what I feel is necessary, although the lab and the practical part prepares us for real - world applications and teaches us a lot of things related to photography, news paper page building, survey report, etc. I believe they should have a better approach and teach more relevant real - world or in demand market skills which'll help the students in the future. Exams are conducted 2 times in a year, once between March - april, and second time between August - September.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From my childhood, I'm into music and this course allows me to further widen my knowledge of the entertainment industry, films, Television and etc. So this course will allow me to understand how media and journalism world works, and help me pursue the art that I love. The timings could be better of the college, but rather than that everything is mostly good. The frequency in my opinion, should be reduced to 3 main semester exams, and to have small mid semester exams throughout. That's my perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. I opted for this course because I thought it would have a good practical work, with good exposure and experience. But this course has nothing as such. The documentary we did was done all by ourselves. College did not help at all. There was a photo journalsm option in one paper but our college did not let us study that. They did not teach anything about photography, no practical training was given. 2. None. The curriculum doesn't prepare us for the real world at all. There is no professional study or activities. No preparation for interviews or real world jobs. Only theoretical and advices from our faculty. College doesn't provide any activity that can help us for the real world job. 3. More and more practical work with the help of college. More exposure needed. High quality software and equipments are needed. Students need a GOOD professional lab. More exciting activities for students. Placement opportunities, internships etc. 4. BAD. Per sem arrives in 2.5 months, too short time

Course Curriculum Overview:

Journalism is one of my favorite sudject . One of the reasons for choosing this subject is that only a journalist can highlight the good and bad aspects of our society before the people. The scope of the subject is journalism but it is huge. We can learn not only journalism but also photography, radio, film studies etc. The behaviors of all the professors in the journalism department in this college is very well. They very carefully explain all the topics thoroughly to the students so that the students do not have to face any difficulty with those topics later. Every year two semesters are taken every six months if the students do all the classes carefully and study well then they can easily pass by getting good marks
