College management is okie in my sense. I wont say whether good or bad.

Yearly exam fair. I have patient interaction. Its not industry specifc. it is hospital based. educatuon. we take cases. and make case presentation. we have practical labs. we prepare various products there. we does many experiments.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

College Events

Christmas, onam sports arts etc. They r not big. Small prpgrams and not that interesting. No DJ's just simole prgorams. No tight competitions. Many are soo mucbtalented and they does lots of things and get lot of prizes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

2 lakhs/year its bit expensive. Thus total will be 12 lakhs per yesr. If hosteler additional amount shoukd be paid. This is all about fees structure and is paid either online or as draft. Its good no extra payment made other than this.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships available except for muslim students and there are manay procedures for geting loan.

Campus Life

Campis life is ok not so good cause of less activites which are extra curricular. More bookish we are thus I dont like it that much. Good frnds are there. They are good. Gender will not be a problem there. All are equal in the college.

Admission

I wanted to work in hospital where all services for a patient could be provided. I wanted to be a doctor. I want to serve society in all ways which I can. I want to be a clinical pharmacist in the future. This college is near to my place.

My honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course docter of pharmacy provides insights into the use of modern medicine and therapeutics. After completing pharmd you can work as a clinical pharmacist and help docters design thier treatment regimon that provides maximum benefits to patients and is cost effective. This influenced my decision to choose this course. But for real world applications the preparation provided but the curriculum is not upto the marks. Yet the college manages to provide as clinical postings in hospital which helps to improve patient student interactions and real world conditions. I find the course still needs improvement in improving the application level skills of the students. Since the academic schedule is planned yearly the frequency and timing of exams is not too hectic. Yet there is a lot of topics to be covered in a short time. The timing in between two exams is short.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is known for its hospital. Its situated in a good area of town. This course is a developing course hence was new to me. The curriculum system is mainly based on improving theoretical knowledge and gives less importance in practical knowledge gain. But the course is practically useful in hospitals as it is a very important in patient counselling. Doctors diagnose the patient whereas it is the clinical pharmacist who shoild prescribr and give patient counselling about the medicine to the patient or by-stander. Hence academically the curriculum supports students by providing hospital trainings during 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th year and internship. Improvement can be done in the examination system by not making student study just for the exams and implement practical gain of knowledge. Teaching methods can be for student freindly and interactive instead of just showing slideshows which are done most of the time. Exams are conducted according to an academic calender hiven ecmvery year for that particilar year. Usually 3 sessionals are written in every 2 to 3 months. Questions for the exam are of all kinds ranging from simple to application level.

College - its best and worst things

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum and this course is one with lot of opportunities and it is still developing and growing. Many wide opportunities are there especially in foreign countries and abroad. The method of teaching should be improved. Accurate notes and textbooks should be provided.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soevific asoects of the curriculum that influenced me to decide doing Pharmd program is, in our country there is lot of prescribing errors and dispensing errors making patient life more danger. In my point of view. PharmD is an bridge between Prescriber and patient. The pharmd curriculum established by india(PCI) is not good. Because it is almost same as Bpharm curriculum. The areas for improving the course curriculum and teaching methods are to include subjects like general medicine, General Prescribing guidelines to make the pharmd as prescribing doctors and to enhance the deep into the medicine.
