College review

Infrastructure very good, amenities all good, seniors and faculty all grounded people and more like friends, fees nominal, only thing if they focussed more on-campus recruitment it will heaven.

Curriculum was normal like other colleges. Hands on training was not that much helpful. We learned all computer related courses but very limited. Mostly first year we studied all subjects like mechanics physics maths which were not relevant to our computer science student.

No on campus placement. Yes they have pool placement with other colleges. I also got placed through pool campus. No internship. We did our own internships.

Yearly one cultural and one technical event. Apart from that there were few programming quizzes and other subjects events. Also college called other colleges for events In technical and cultural events which allowed us to take part in healthey comepetions.

As it was a semi govt college so the fees was half as compared to other colleges. No additional fees. Yes they took security deposit which was returned after my graduation. They accepted only demand drafts in the name of college. College fees was mostly transparent.

I didn't opted for scholarships or education loan but my friends did all banks gave education loans like any other student. There was no scholarships given by college but yes from govt for sc/st and obc students one time scholarship of rs 30000 if their household income is below 1 lakh / annum

Infrastructure was very good. We had basketball court and very big play grounds so it was a joyable leisure to play after classes. Lab were mostly good and spacious. Gender ratio was also good it was mostly 60:40 boys: girls ratio. No ragging allowed. Most seniors were helpful and provided us notes if they had. Technical events were also good with robotics and all. I also won third prize once.

Yes I opted for 6 months as my home was 45 km away but then later used to travel and it was an awesome hostel with twin sharing and food was very good with variety. All facility like hygienic toilets, internet everything was there.

Yes they were all grounded people and mostly helpful. Even now we have alumni portal and mostly visit our campus once a year when alumni meet and when we get opportunity we Refer our juniors.

Through college own entrance exam held. I opted as it was a govt college and has good reputation. Fees was less. Through Uptu exam also it has good reputation and one of the top colleges of Kanpur, also infrastructure was better than most colleges.

Lecturers were mostly post graduates. Few were PhD holders and had good knowledge but mostly were not experienced And just teached. Yes if we had doubts they gave clarity. We had proper labs so we could practice and ask them doubts. Mostly faculty didn't have industry experience to guide us for placement oriented study.
