College review

To conclude my college it is a very good environment for the students to learn new things & share new ideas by utilising all the resources provided for the students. And to say about the college hostel, a sperate menu must provide for North & South Indian students as their food habitat is different. And also the food in the college canteen must be good enough & cleanliness must be taken care of.

The courses were according to the University (VTU). 8 subjects per sem in which 6 were theory & 2 labs. The teaching facilities are very good & labs were well maintained. And special workshop were organised for the students to gain knowledge how Industry run what are their requirements. And also how we can apply our theoretical knowledge once we get into a company. Once students enter into the main branch each semester they will be having one industry visit so as to gain the work culture in the industry etc

Placement is really good in our college but only for CSE, ISE & ECE students. As more than 60 company visit every year for those students. And the remaining branch will have less opportunity as only 6 to 7 core company visits. Yes the institution takes special steps to prepare the students for the placement. And regarding the internship, as it is included in our curriculum it is compulsory to do the internship in the industry of our choice. For students who are not able to do the internship in the industry, the college provides the internship for those students in collaboration with the company and which is a paid one.

Every semester there will be 3 branch fests and 1 annual fest known as VARCHOTSVA. The annual fest will be celebrated for 2 days and which is a technocultural fest. Students from different college participate in this fest for cultural activities. Programs are very good and in the evening there will be DJ Night exclusively for our college students.

For the merit students, the fees are 80000 and the students who enter through COMED-K Will have the fees of around 1.5 lakhs. And for the students admitted through management seat will have fees around 3 lakhs depending on the branches they select. There are no additional fees taken from college. And the mode of payment is NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, DD & CHEQUE. College also made a platform through which we can pay online.

Yes, the college offers scholarship opportunities to the students. There are 2 national scholarship provided for the students. Where the students have to apply for the scholarship and give the details to the college office. Once the amount is credited to the college the scholarship is distributed to the student's bank account as per the details attached. The average scholarship provided for the students will be around 17000.

The College campus is very vast & surrounded by trees and have a healthy environment. The gender ratio is 50-50. And regarding the extracurricular, the students are actively allowed to participate in the sports event and also represent the college in sports. The students can also utilize the gym facilities provided inside the college. And our college is ragging free where no student are allowed to rag. Also there are different cultural society for the students. Students can actively join the group and showcase their ideas & perform.

No, I have not opted for the hostel. And about the hostel facility rooms provided are clean and tidy. And the food provided in the hostel is clean and healthy. Regarding the taste of the food, some are satisfied and some are not. As they follow the same routine of food every week.

Our college has a good alumni network and is invited to participate in every college event. Alumni are invited and are made to share their experience with the students & enlighten them in their path.

As I was interested in mathematics & science I opted for Engineering. Since the institution had good name & good teaching facilities & good placement facility I opted for this college. After KCET we had to apply to different college according to our ranking. As I got approval from this college & date for the admission in the college. Admission process was not much difficult as the faculty were very co operative & helped us in every step.

There are 33 teaching & 13 non teaching staff in our branch. The lectures are well qualified all pursuing an MTech degree & some with a PhD. All the lectures are well experienced & have good knowledge on the subject. We have some of the lecturers who had been working in the industry and came to the teaching profession.
