Remarks

College is good in Infrastructure but have to improve in providing core jobs to Mechanical, Electrical jobs. College has to encourage clubs organized by students and have increase facilities for sports and games. Management is running by only one dominant caste, it has to be reduced.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Untill we compare to IITs and NITs, my institution is a good one. The institution is fair but not research-driven. Industrial visits are well-organized for the students in each semester. The curriculum is good and gives leisure time to students to develop essential industrial skills. On-campus placements are mostly Tech jobs and very less in Mechanical and Electrical jobs.

Placement Experience

3

Most of the placements are Tech Jobs and Core jobs are less for my mechanical branch. Every student has to do internship as per the curriculum for atleast 30 days. Students have to search for internships.

College Events

2.5

Engineers Day - Display of projects and visitors from other colleges. All students of college, 200 other college students, 500 school children, 200 lecturers and 10 experts do participate each year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

From 2020 batch, fees are reduced to 66k from 102k due to government restrictions. I think fees are feasible now. Additional fee of 8k for freshers and 2k for other students. For all the branches the fee structure is same. Yes, the College provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides some scholarships and gives the full fee as scholarship. I haven't applied for any scholarship or educational loan because government gives full fee reimbursement for poor students. As per the academics, students can apply for schlorship.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. Gender ratio is 55 girls to 45 boys in the college. Labs are adequate and some prestigious labs like Dassault, SIEMENS, HCL, IBM are there. Debates and competitions are conducted twice a year. There are very less clubs organized by students. Sports are encouraged as per the branch. No ragging in college. College is secular and no religion riots. Politics are there before 8 years as one dominant caste in College but now there are no such dominance outside but somewhat they show dominance in leadership.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The boys hostel is far from college approx 4kms far, college provides bus from hostel to college. The College hostel is over-priced (70, 000) and not good. There are many PGs near to the college and average rent is 4500 per month. PGs are good. Some PGs provide AC too but have to pay extra fee for AC.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network is good as the College is well performed from past 40 years and first private college in Andhra Pradesh. Senior students are helpful if we know them. No interaction classes for students and alumnus.

Admission

I got admission by my rank in entrance exam conducted by State Government. The entrance exam is AP-EAMCET. After the entrance exam, if one qualify he/she can attend counseling and can select colleges as per the rank. I opted for this course because I am interested in doing Mechanical engineering. My institution is well-located and have good infrastructure so I choose it.

Faculty

3

25% of the faculty have PhD. There are enough number of lectures. For my branch there are nearly 80 lecturers to 540 students. Average age will be between 40 to 45 and average qualification is greater than B.Tech. Experiences faculty are good in explaining and in subject, they do give clarity to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
