Remarks
It seems to be a great college my teachers are easy to talk with and communicate. It's a great learning experience. Staff is great always helpful. I would recommend Sheridan to everyone that wanted to go.
Course Curriculum Overview
In terms of course curriculum, its great. I received a wonderful education from well-rounded professors that were incredibly accessible, flexible, available to help and give recommendations. Exams are mainly written or it includes multiple choice questions, some are open book also. I got to improve my communication skills, teamwork, an impressive leader.
Placement Experience
Employer evaluations and constructive feedback are provided to students on each of their work terms. This input gives students the opportunity to understand their strengths and improve in areas that require attention. Although work term placements are not guaranteed, last year, Sheridan was successful in helping upwards of 95% of students find work term placements. Co-op programs at Sheridan require 360 hours for the completion of a work term. Internship programs require a minimum of 14 full-time consecutive weeks (30 hrs/week on average) for the completion of an internship for the applied degree programs. All degree programs have a mandatory work term component to fulfill graduation requirements.
College Events
I think the best way to connect with new friends and adapt to Sheridan College is to get involved in events, activities and more. There are many international events celebrated by the college such as Holi, Diwali, Christmas. Everyday there are some engaging and interesting activities going on in the campus where an individual student can participate and earn any gift. it mainly provides some enjoyment apart from study lectures.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tuition fees for students who attend on a student visa are $7, 638 per term unless otherwise stipulated on your invoice. Tuition fees for some post secondary and Ontario College Graduate Certificate programs are set at a higher rate and vary according to the program. So for 2 years your college fees would be approx $ 33, 424 CAD. This might exclude your textbooks costs as well as application fees which are usually around $ 100 CAD.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got a chance to apply for needs based scholarship for tuition, but that did not cover housing, food, healthcare, books, clothing, travel expenses, etc. I did not get any other grant. I had a part time job, but as a student, I really couldn’t manage more than a few hours a week. To make the ends meet (between costs and income) there are many student loans you can take some student loans.
Campus Life
Amazing staff, very helping and reliable, you just have to go up to them and tell what problems are you facing an they will make sure that you get over those obstacles. amazing on-campus resources, you have access to employment services, counselling services, time management services, ALS services for free So many on campus jobs for students Close to all amenities such as transit, grocery stores etc. They have amazing library, where you can book a private room for studying or group study.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of college handles and manage every event and admission or graduating occasions going on. They also help new students in every aspect. Seniors are mostly helpful in guiding the subjects and other right paths for which a students is looking.

I opted for this course because I am a commerce student and wanted to purse General Business from a college who has best business departments. The college is well known for its Multicultural environment as well as high quality education is provided. The Davis Campus free resources, library, job opportunities as well.
