Course Curriculum Overview
During our time we used study old syllabus which was way too old but the lecture dilivery was good due to the experienced staff with handling old syllabus, but vtu has updated it according to the latest industry needs but the lectures lack the knowledge about the current industrial needs.
Placement Experience
Good for IT students like CS, IS and EC, while we used to study several companies used to recruit like TCS, Infosys, Triveni turbines, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Capgemini, Igate, Ntt Data, Amazon etc.

Chunchana, Branch Fest, IEEE Fest, Uphoria, Enigma, CS Fest, Illumination EC Fest, Construct Civil fest, Cricket, volly ball, football, kabbadi, basketball, throw ball, discus throw, baseball, athletics, dances, technical debate, technical quizzes, logical quiz, treasure hunt, circuit debug, pc game fest etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As we got admitted to college through merit basis we had to pay fees fixed by government which was 40k per year and the college used to charge bus fees of 17k for 3 years, there are some extras during semester exam which used to be around 1. 5k exam fees and 900 rs for lab fees which was of no need.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are two types of scholarship to apply one is Merit cum means for minorities which was around 25k and another fee reembursment from government for students excluding SC st and OBC, for sc and st students there was full fee reembursment.
Campus Life
Gender ratio differs for every branch like EC, CS, IS the majority was female with a ratio of 70: 30 and in mechanical stream it was boys who were more in number with a ratio of 80: 20 in civil and electrical it was 60 to 40 ratio between boys and girls.
Hostel Facilities
No, but friends used to stay there, hostel is divided into two parts for boys 1st year and another for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students, a separate hostel for girls is also there which is 2km away from college campus.
Alumni/Alumna
There's an annual meeting every year in December where aluminee meet happen but I haven't any so no idea about that.
Admission
As I had completed my diploma after my 10th I had to choose engineering, I got the seat through CET conducted by KEA where 50k students take the exam to fill in the college's around the state, we had to select the college using priority basis by computer allocation.
