Our college was good in ranking as it was in the top 20 and it was good one according to my rank and it has a good history of students getting passed out from this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this branch because ECE is one of the good options to move onto the software side or into the core side. There will be approximately 25-30 faculty for Ece department consisting of nearly 500 students all the four years. That means the ratio is 1:20. Teaching methods are different from each other and there are 6 PhD done faculty in our Department. Coming to Exams point of view, JBIET conducts exams in a disciplined manner and schedule are informed prior with detailed fee structure and exams are above average according to my point.
Internships Opportunities
Some companies shortlisted students from our college for internships by conducting an exam for students. Miraki technologies, Sakshi Technologies etc, I have attended the exams and shortlisted and interview for final selection is yet to be completed.
Placement Experience
Coming to Placements point of view there are some placements provided by our college from 7th semester onwards and some companies like rhythms, creators solutions, multipliers solutions etc. Highest Package made during the year 2020 was about 4.5-5 lakhs. About 30% of all students are getting placed in some companies, It includes both on-campus and off-campus. I plan to get into a government job after completion of my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college hikes fees for every 2-3 years according to rules provided by our state govt. The government provides scholarships for the students whose families annual income is less than 2 lakhs.
Campus Life
The campus was good. Fests are conducted for every two years and it was full of fun there to have fests by inviting celebrities. Library facility is not up to the mark but not bad. Classroom facilities are average they don't have any board for projector purpose, But now they are modifying for installing projectors in classrooms. Sports room will be given access to students and we can use our ground to play outdoor sports as well. There are many clubs and groups for conducting and workshops and fests or any other cultural programs.
