WALK IN, GROW AND LEARN

After finishing class 12th, I was searching for a decent college to enrol myself. Meanwhile, I got a reference from one of my acquaintances about this college. Now here's the catch: I got to know how students are nurtured here to be professionally competent, socially responsible and spiritually aware. I decided to pay a visit, made my mind after evaluating every aspect I saw here and that's how I got into it.

The college strictly follows the curriculum laid out by the Gujarat Technological University. On the plus side, we have two internal examinations that are patterned in the way of main semester exams so as to give us a practice of the latter. We are also exposed to Expert Sessions and Workshops and those are really-really helpful. And by far, the best thing is the participation in national and international level competitions like ABU robocon, BAJA, Aero design, and Mitsubishi electric cup. Talking about the faculties, I think SUPPORTIVE is the word I should use for them, be it in academics or some personal advice or some sweet mischief. They give their best to help the students out.

The placement cell is going all out to help students find suitable job offers and placing them in reputed companies. We are also exposed to CRT, i.e. Campus recruitment test, practising on writing CV etc. We still have a long way to go but the pace of progress is worth appreciating.

Regarding the fee hike: The hike in fee per year is not much. The scholarship scheme is very efficient, as there are three slots - 100%, 50% and 25% concession on tuition fee. A majority of students avail the same. It is given on basis of their academic score in class 12th (this is applicable only for the students belonging to Gujarat and those who have appeared for GUJCET). The financial assistance is surely provided.

The annual tech fest is called VEYG, generally conducted in the month of February. A lot of innovation is seen in the fest. We also have a cultural fest, namely FUSION, conducted in the month of April. As the name, so the festival. The fusion sees a great blend of performances like dance, drama and music. The Sports festival, UDAAN, is held with all the zeal and enthusiasm. The library has a wide range of books, journals, magazines and everything that a student looks out for. The overall campus is very clean and green and the location of amphitheater is cherry on the cake.
