Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology is the best Christian institute located in the centre of the city. Admission Interviews will be done by the Heads of the Department. During the interview, students will be evaluated performance, behaviour, communication, and relevant answers. If the student is selected in the interview, then based on the student's interest department will be allocated. Management fixes the fees for management Quota and the students coming from merit list under Anna University, the payment of the fee will be as per government rules. Reason for preferring this college is the best infrastructure, placements, Equal importance for sports, academics and cultural and during the end of the second year LICET will offer you summer internship program in France, Friendly staffs. I will suggest you choose this college because they will lead you in a professional manner and how to face the society in future. "A very Well Disciplined Environment".

I have chosen the Department of Information Technology because our future world is fully based on digital technologies. Every Company need techies in today's world to beat their competitors in a smarter way. During placements, technical skills will help you to the core. Every company that comes for placements looking for technical skills. The teaching method of the faculty is good. Before Anna university exams, internal exam marks will be calculated based on Continuous Assessments 1, 2 & 3 and 75 % attendance is compulsory as per Anna university rule.

During semester holidays, it is mandatory that students should undergo internships. LICET offers Summer Internship program in France for 1 month.

Placement is excellent. From the third year itself, you will be getting ready for your placements by preparing the resume and placement coordinators will practice you by a model interview, this will give you an idea of presenting yourself and also they will provide the feedback on your performance to improve your skills. In my IT department, Half of them got placed, some entrepreneurs, some pursuing higher studies in abroad (US, France, Australia, London). Generally, 7.5 CGPA and above with nil number of arrears allowed for all placements. but some companies will mention the eligibility criteria for the job role. Maximum companies will not allow more than 2 arrears but if the company says arrears, not an issue you will be allowed for the drive. 3 rounds: 1. Aptitude- to check the mathematical skills 2. Group Discussion- To check the communication skills 3. Technical round/personal interview- To check your technical skills like coding(dept wise) and your personality. The resume speaks the most.

You will get the scholarship amount up to 1,00,000. LICET also helps the students to the core considering the family situation of the students. While comparing to other top colleges fees structure is reasonable. Regarding Placements: I was working in the placement team as a student placement co-coordinator in the Department of IT for the batch 2019. Placement Coordinators motivated students a lot by guest lectures from industries, Coaching from TIME, FACE, CAREER LAUNCHER. Placement team conducted a personal interview demo and resume building for students during their commencement of the third year and they will give you feedback on the areas to improve your skills. Companies Visited (Both on CAMPUS & POOL DRIVE): TCS, Infosys, Valeo, Expeditors, Robert Bosch, Decathlon, Zoho, HSBC, BNP Paribas, L & T Infotech, CEI India, Calibraint, CTS etc.Totally 3 rounds: 1. Aptitude, 2. Group Discussion 3. Technical & Personal Interviews. Needed skills: Mathematics, Communication & Technical skills.

Campus life is an awesome experience for me. We will be having Engenia on stage and off stage cultural every year. Regarding Library Department books, Journals, Fictions are available. For sports day, Many sports will be conducted for both boys and girls. Every Year LICET Tournament also conducted to show up students as well as faculties talents. To name a few sports: Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, High Jump, Running, Badminton etc.

I experienced more Memorable moments in Hostel. The hostel has 3,4, 6 & 8 sharing rooms. Food while comparing to another outside hostel it is far better. Boys hostel food will be more good than the girl's hostel. Attendance will be taken at 7:15 for girls. Study tie is at 8:30 PM - 10 PM. You can go anywhere on Saturdays and Sundays by registering in the outgoing register. If you are going home, you have to get permission from LICET/ LIBA Assistant Directors in the hostel.

The students from management quota will have Interviews. Questions basically on department-based, current affairs & personal skills. Students will be evaluated by their performance, communication and their knowledge or ideas. Discipline is very important for LICET. To prepare for the interview, students should decide what department they are going to take, they should have some knowledge on the domain, way of presenting yourself, communication, behavior will be evaluated.
