Good for CSE

My college is very good for certain departments, infrastructure and other activities are good as well. Only improvement need to be done on management part. They need to live academic and other matter to academicians and student. There should be student council.

COMEDK, I scored 67 marks. My brother in law got passed out from same college in 1992. So as a natural choice i opted for this college being old.

Course curriculum is standard throughout VTU. Still more advanced course could be included like JAVA lab and Javascript as subject.VTU course revision should be more extensive and frequent.There should be industry representation from IT major gaint, rather government appointed.

In our university, we dont have internship as part of degree completion. Though, its an optional choice for student to go for internship. As college is located in middle of IT hub of whitefield. Thus its easy to get an internship opportunity and time saving during internship. It helps in balancing studies and internship work.

This is one of the major area, where i can proudly say that i have got benefited from.For our batch 2008-2012 most of the student got placed.Only students who didn't have eligibility to sit in placement drive was unfortunately not got placed.

Swayam is annual cultural festival. It spans over 3 days. It include cultural events apart from drama and story narration. Debates and discussions on socio political topics are also included. Inter college competition held. Student from over 40 colleges participate in different events like dance, drama, essay writings

Fees is very expensive and lot of partiality is done on basis of regionalism. I was not a native of karnataka, thus even after clearing and getting through competitive exam.Hostel fees is little costly as well for pure vegeterian food.

Loan facilities are not available for outstation students.One can get bonafide certificates from college and fees structure. Which can be used for procuring load from banks at there native.

Robotics club is very active. They have represented and competed with national level colleges and student from IITs. Debates are encouraged. English department is very active in all these activities. They organise poetry writing competition and poster making.

Hostel is good for cleanliness and hygine. but restrictions are not needed for bachelor students.

Senior student and aluminis are little disconnected, as its not promoted by college administration. They haven't organise mingling of juniors with seniors. And engagement of alumini network in placement and other talks are almost negligible. Thus, it creates a big gap.

Course include 8 semesters. Averagely 8 papers in every sem. There are 6 theory papers and 2 lab. 100 marks maximum can be obtained in semester external and 25 can be obtained as internal assesment based on average of best of two internal exam from 3 internals.

College faculty was distributed in knowledge variance. Some were very good and other average or below.Being one of the old college of Bengaluru, It had earlier pool of good teachers,
